    morning everyone!

up earlier that expected this morning as DS1 left his mobile here and at 6.30 woke to a chorus of "gonna catch me riding dirty"!!!???? (apparently its in the charts?) when his alarm went off loudly! so i had to jump out of bed and turn it off as DS1&2 stayed at their dads last night arghhhhhhhhhhh.

DS3 and DD are still asleep and I had even timed the breadmaker to go off later just incase the beeps woke me up! so much for a sunday lie in!!

ironing planned for here again today:( as uniforms need doing for tomorrow.

HM soup for lunch that i made yesterday and also made some cookies which have already almost gone  so might need to make some more of those today again too. might make a double batch and freeze half for later in the week.

sat down last night and have now made 15 xmas cards. i will try and do a few an evening that way they might be finished by end of november, also made some more candles for another order.:D

will make another loaf later for lunchbox sarnies tomorrow. i love weekends:) nothing too much planned and i dont go out anywhere. during the week everything is so rushed, now DS1 has gone back to school i now have the three boys and 3 different schools and my daughter at nursery! so school runs are madness!!! and 2 boys finish at the same time!

this evening i think im going to finish off the weekend with a chillout evening. pamper myself a bit:D a nice hot bath with a "bath-tea" methinks. i got some new herbs this weekend so i will also be making shampoo later (probably nettle as it makes hair sooooo shiny).:D

    have a great day everyone

Idle boast for the day ... I got a 3 in art homework :j :j :j ok, ok, ok, ... it was d11yo's art homework and it's *his* grade really .... but, it was *my* paper supplies and, for once, he took on board my suggestion :D:D Now, if only I could have got those grades in art when I was at school  I can't even draw hangman tbh, but I do have creative ideas once in a while ;):D

  • Morning everyone!

Just a short one from me today. Our big clean yesterday went well - the house is now pretty tidy and mostly clean and OH has been getting enthused about some ideas for how to move the furniture round when the baby is here so that's really exciting.

I'm trying not too get stressed about all the little jobs that I spotted going along - the windows, the cars need a good clean inside and out and the garden needs a final winter tidy (and I still haven't planted my spring bulbs  !) - I find it really difficult to be satisfied with a job completed because I see what's not been done rather than what has been done IYSWIM.

I also made chocolate cupcakes with chocolate frosting yesterday - they are really yummy and made me 28 cakes! I'd recommend them!

    Today's plans are to:-
    • Apply for a 0% c/c to tranfer a balance
    • Do minutes and Things to Do list from Committee meeting
    • Walk with OH
    • Clean floors throughout
    • Gardening - sook up leaves and rubbish, plant bulbs and general tidy up
    Have a lovely Sunday everyone

    Hiya JAMIEDODGER !

Same here ref school runs, only have 2 schools to do now and luckly both start and finish at different times, but its complete mayhem here on school days.
Sons 1,2,3 start at 8.45, dd at 8.50, then dd finishes nursery at 11.20 then back for boys at 3.30, then back at 4.30 if there is any after school clubs for any of them.( which tends to be every day but for a different child each time!!) none of them stay for the same clubs.
Then we have footy training on 3 nights of the week too!!!
    Oh i love it !!!!
    ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

  • :D Morning all! Aren't there a lot of us up early on Sunday. :j

I can smell the BM doing its stuff, so fresh bread and HM strawberry jam, today. Will make some welshcakes later for when DD gets back from Guide camp. Remains of yesterday's "fridge bottom" soup for lunch. It was delicious yesterday - will certainly be using that recipe again. :D

Chopped a lot of wood and swept leaves yesterday; it was lovely to be out in the sunshine.
Started meal planning yesterday - thanks for the thread PP :T Found it easier than I thought, and though I've only posted a week's worth, it's made me think, and I've planned (in my head only ;) ) the following week, too.

    Bread's pipping, must go!

((hugs)) Can all seem overwhelming, can't it!
Grab a notebook and write down all those little jobs/tasks that you saw along the way and then put them in an order of priority. Plan when you'll be able to fit them in. Even if it's in stages ie: clean the o/side of the car one time, then the inside another. Remember: "Rome wasn't built in a day" and there's only so much you can do. Maximise what you achieve by focusing on priorities, ticking them off one by one and you'll see your list depleting :) Taking action of some sort is a tonic to counteract the stress too ;) Wishing you all the best :):):)
