Afternoon everyone :j
I can report that I have done absolutely NOTHING today, I was rudely woken by the postie at 8.00am  So i got up made breakfast (scrambled eggs abd beans on toast) had a cup of tea and then went back to bedI've only just got dressed
Now I'm feeling guilty and need to pull my finger out
(((((hugs))))) to all
Oh, tea tonight (as always on a Saturday) is HM pizza - so I must stick some dough on in a minute.Squares knitted for my throw ~ 90 (yes!!! I have finally finished it :rotfl: )Squares made for my patchwork quilt ~ 80 (only the "actual" quilting to do now :rotfl:)0 -
Ok - I've been to the tip where one of the employees told me to "try not to drop it on the floor madam!!" I had dropped one small piece of polystyrene which I was already picking up! Jobsworth
Anyway, WM on 2nd load, TD on (heavens are emptying themselves here) and will put BM on soon. DW is glugging away and boys are currently using my exercise equipment in my bedroom - walker, "bounceline" aka mini trampoline and leg masterWell, it burns up all that pent up energy :rotfl:
Have just eaten cheese on toast so will put kettle on for a brew and then attack the bathrooms with the steam cleaner. Was going to go out for a walk later but it's so grey out there it just makes me want to stay in. Have no idea what to do for tea. I have some leftovers in there, so will probably be shepherds pie for me at least. And there's some vino with my name on it too (3rd evening - may even finish the bottle)
OK peeps - gotta get on. Nels - knit one, purl one - you know you want to. I'll send Brad over later - he's doing a few chores for me first

Afternoon all!
I had a very long lie in today and have so far done nothing - the house is a tip, and ive got fabric all over the place as im still making the sofa covers. Its the first time ive ever taken on such a big job so im determined to get it right first time. At least it will be nice when its done! Fortunatley I still have two more weeks off work so its not like I have to get the house perfect for monday!
Yesterday OH and I went shopping, I eyed up a swarovski christmas star and told oh I wanted one, he promises Ill have one by the time I get the xmas tree up. Bless him! I treated him to a computer game with the last of my vouchers, and bought myself sims 2 pets as a treat, as im determined to get a chance to play soon and I had a bit of spare cash left over in my current account before I get paid next week. I also dropped into hobbycraft, my first time in there, I was like a kid in a sweet shop. The place is awesome! I wish I could craft stuff all the time instead of w*rk.
Aside from that, not much else to report, im off to put the kettle on and stick a load of laundry in, then get cracking on the sofa covers, its time for them to see the sewing machine!
Hope you all have a lovely day!

Afternoon all
Not a lot going on here today - I feel like rubbish. DH let me lie in bed most of the morning.
Sainsbury's were late with the delivery so I've got a £10 voucher from them. Woo hoo.
Meatballs and pasta tonight (kids will be happy) and I think I've got all the stuff in for banana butterscotch pudding.
It's cold here today - had to turn the heating up from the lowest setting.
Welcome Lily Marie.
Off to have a read of what everyone's been up to.

gosh- i miss a couple of days and it is all happening here.
congrats rchdapp. I bet you are relieved its all over and will feel even better when you get home. I know what you are going through.
I am struggling to get on here because of the baby grizzling a lot. i ended up caving and giving him a bottle of formula last night because he was screaming at me while i was feeding him and after 4 hours, it didn't stop. he then slept for 6 hours, so i have a hungry horace who i can't keep up with. i'm just glad i had a tin of milk in the cupboard just in case. It would have been hard to get some at midnight. It was bliss to get that much sleep.
I had a reasonable housework day as when the baby managed to have 10 minute naps, i ran round like a loon getting a bit of something done.
I managed to get quite a bit of shopping for xmas done the other day so i don't think i'm doing too bad. I just need to sort this feeding out.
DH is out at work at the moment, so i will have to try and do a bit more than a surface clean tomorrow as my friend will be visiting next week. I think i need to do a to do list in priority order and just keep tackling where i can.
Hugs to everyone.

I'm getting there! Having another 10 minutes with a cup of tea (though by the time I get off here it'll probably be more like 1/2 hour  )
The DW is on, WM is getting loaded up soon. Managed to get some double sided tape at the shop up the road, so didn't have to go to the craft shop - believe me, that is moneysaving! Also managed to get some nice sweeties for my nephews christmas present bags, and a cool metal 'santa' key so he can let himself into the house seeing as they don't have a chimney :rotfl: I'll try and remember to bring it next time we're up kyle!
I knew I meant to say something else when posting earlier - congratulations to rchdapp! That is a beautiful nameHope mum and baby are doing well and will be home soon.
cha97michelle - hope the baby sleeps more than 10 minutes at a time to let you get on with things!
Thinking about making some crackers as haven't had lunch due to late breakfast, and don't want to make tea till later.
Take care all :j0 -
