:rotfl: Vicky that story about the Page 3's just had me in stitches :rotfl: Just out of interest, how old are the children you were teaching?
Glad you seem to be happy in yourself about your decision to leave - I know it's not easy but you'll be able to look back in a few years and know that you did the right thing0 -

Evening Guys!
OH has been to the docs and she suspects kidney stones:eek:   ...she thinks one has passed but on the way down has irratated and caused an infection backing up to the kidneys which he tested positive for. He has to go for a scan on Monday. Poor guy, no wonder he is in so much pain. She has given strong pain killers and anti-biotics to him, so hopefully they will kick in soon.
My WM is making some bad noises but cant get the repairman out till a week monday...sounds like theres loose bolts in there. Suppose to be a whisper model:rotfl: ...we have so much washing due to medical conditions and will cost a fortune in launderette costs.
Just had a lovely dinner of Gammon/pineapple, chips, onion rings, peas and chips and was delish.
Anyway, got to go as DD needs help with some HW.
Hugs to all.

Completely failed to do anything today as tiny person was horrid and clingy (not his normal self, teething or brewing something methinks)
Saved money as couldnt face going shopping with above mentioned horror!!!!
Small person came out of school in contrary mood so have struggled with her too!
I love them dearly but sometimes they make me want to turn to drink!:o0 -
PP sorry to hear about your DH, sounds awful for him, must be worrying for you when he is ill as he is your carer. I hope he'll be feeling better when the painkillers start to work xx

Had a busy busy day here..
I've found the kitchen floor.. baked buns and bread!! fed all my lot plus 5 extras!! had birthday cake and need to load the dishwasher now and clear the table and vacuum the back room and we might be tidy and sorted for the weekend.
Dance class in the morning for the 4 older girs and I need to pay for their exams.. I love all this money saving.. if I stopped them all going to dance class that would save me £1100 a year approx!
Love to everyone..

Hi, this is the Daily Thread for xx (add date). This is an “over the garden fence” type thread where we chat about everything OS and maybe a little bit more. It’s a great, inspiring and motivating thread we start each day to discuss what we’re going to do today or what we’ve achieved already. Everyone’s welcome, please do come in, put your feet up (although check the fence hasn’t just been painted first!) and join us for an OS natter. The more the merrier!
When you make a post, if you feel like giving it a title, that will help others that don’t have the time to read everything skim through the thread quickly but if not it's not a problem, we’re a laid back bunch here so you won’t hear any complaints.
Some people who chat here like to try to answer everyone. Don’t feel you have to though, a general “hi everyone, hope everyone’s well” type start does just as well.
Good morning everyone - this makes a change for me to start the thread.
Had busy evening, prep for DD party (KO in 13hrs time) Head is buzzing so cant switch off at the mo.
So apart from the party for today, once its over, plenty of clearing up to do, general tidy, and get bathroom and down stairs loo cleaned, hall n kitchen swept n mopped, then chill, rest can wait til sunday
Have a great week end peeps - Good luck to OS "footballers" if your'e playing
Have fun at parties if your goin - and chin up to those who have to work
Catch you all later
Love as usualHi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why please read the forum rules or email the forum team if you’re still unsure0 -
Hiya CrazyChick
Thanks for starting the daily, and best of luck for your DD's party. It'll be fabulous, don't get too hung up about cleaning and tidying, it's not like the little ones will notice.
I am hoping that I wake up to a day of no snow....we had snow in this part of Ireland yesterday....lol I opened the blinds all bleary eyed, but when I went outside to the car my eyes sprung open as everywhere was white! It was really pretty but what a surprise:D! Luckily it has all melted now...so it's safe to drive...
I'm off to meet an old school friend later today. Like me she has recently returned from England after the best part of 20 years. She's got a lot more baggage on her return journey than me though...she has an English husband and two children!! It so happens that she has moved only about seven or eight miles from where I am now. It's a v.rural area so that counts as a neighbour (IMO anyway). It'll be great to catch up, we lost contact about 10 years or so ago but just happened to bump into each other.
I need to phone around for some heating oil...it always costs more than £200:eek: for a year's supply (and I am very economical with it!) - I do so miss the piped gas I had in London. Unfortunately it simply isn't available here. Also on my to do list is to bring my recycling to the recycling depot...it's a bit of a wind tunnel there, but I've got quite a backlog of stuff needing to be removed.
Well that's it. Off to my lovely warm bed now. Good night/good morning!!
