Morning all! Very frosty here, so we put our guinea pigs in the shed for the winter last night. Keeps them sheltered and a little bit warmer than outside. Don't want frost covered guinea pigs!
Making banana bread some time today. Yum! Puppy Pug made a bit of a mess in the dog crate last night and one of my Cavaliers has dried poo on her head this morning! Have put clean cushions in the crate for them and will bath the Cavaliers this morning - they needed a bath anyway.
B: Rice Krispies
L: Baked potato with coleslaw from M&S (not OS I know. Sorry!)Beef and baked bean hotpot
Sorry Loubee about your relative. So upsetting for everyone involved. :grouphug:
Not looking forward to this weekend as it will be fireworks galore and one of my Cavaliers is really frightened of them. Also, Puppy Pug was outside the other night doing her toilet and being very good and a loud bang went off. She came in squealing as though she had been attacked and was very wary of going outside again resulting in her making a mess in the lounge later in the eveningDon't get me wrong, I have always loved fireworks, but I hate the way it affects my dogs.
Have a good day everyone!0 -
Morning all.
(((Loubee)))
Just a quick one today as my mum is coming to visit this weekend so I have to go and clean every inch of the house as she will notice the slightest thing.
So cold - we put heating on last night and it was so lovely, but this morning my DH had a very quick shower and proclaimed that something was wrong as the water was freezing. I was still snug underthe duvet so hadn't realised that the heating was not working either - so have to get that checked out.
Dinner at MIL tonight so that's one less thing to think about.
Have a good day all.0 -

Sorry Havent had time to read the thread yet so hugs to anybody in need.
Got up late this morning due to being up and down with DD last night. I think she was getting cold I tucked her in as best I could but the cot matteress isnt very heavy so she keeps getting untucked, its a shame she wont go in her sleeping bag anymore.
Got a busy day ahead, off to SIL in aminute for DD to have a haircut, then its home via Aldi. This afternoon its tidying, ironing and filling the oven with food.

Morning OSers! *waving*
Brrrrrrrrrrrr! I know it's been said before but eeeeeeee, it's a bit parky. Had to run the car again to defrost the windows - oh the joy of keeping an old bnager on the road, I am praying it gets me through another winter.
Have changed my hours at w**k so can come home at 4pm to spend time with DS following his issues at the end of last term. So last night we spent an hour doing french vocabulary and writing about Martin luther and the Reformation - it's gratifying to know that the syllabus hasn't really changed since I was at school and an awful lot came flooding back. Then we made our first pizza together, he did the rolling and all the toppings and then sat there saying mmmmmm that pizza was really tasty wasn't it Mum? :T Thanks guys, without you lot this is something I wouldn't have thought to do with him and as he gets older little moments like this become far more precious. Then I sat in my chair and read alllllll evening, it was lovely to do nothing for a change.
Plans for today - well am at w**k now, home at 4pm again to do the homework thing - but he's actually looking forward to it now which is just an amazing turnaround - need to think of something he can help me make for dinner because we both enjoyed that so much yesterday. Then tonight I need to make some soup for lunches etc
