Agree with hex2 - any hairdresser should be able to cut hair, whatever the fashion supposedly is, and it sounds like that one was hardly at the top end of the hairdressing scale & therefore unlikely to be a trend setter!
Anyway, what about all the elderly ladies who want hairstyles that they have had for 40 years? Does that mean that new hairdressers are not trained to do those? I doubt it, as they are probably the mainstay of many hair salons!
edit:
ps. forgot to say your DS looks just fine, not old fashioned at all!0 -
morning!
Woke up feeling cr**p this morning, pounding headache over left eye and feeling really sick. Took one of DH's painkillers to see if it helped. It did eventually, headache a bit better but still a bit queasy - not been able to face even a cuppa yet.
DS2 gone off to school in fancy dress. His group had to be a pirate but he didnt want to so he's gone as a pirate-video seller dressed in my long leather coat and with some made-up pirate videos in a briefcase - original I think:D
Hope everything goes ok for those going to funerals - well as ok as they can be.
need to go shopping for food today and do the ironing.Got to get organised as its one of my mammoth 3 day working weekends again - they come round so quick:rolleyes:
Having a snack out for lunch with my friend who is moving away next week, hasn't really sunk in she's going yet.:(
Hope you all have a great day.
Take care xxDo what you love :happyhear0 -
Morning folks
Another wet and miserable day here. I feel like I have had no proper daylight for over a week and it does get you down
Have a few little things to do round the house then I am going to tackle my stepson's bedroom as we are hoping to get his new bed from my sister's tomorrow.
I have instructed hubby that he has to assist in the room clear out as he finishes work early on a Friday and also stepson is going to his gran's tonight so we should be able to get the old bed out today and there is no way I can do it myself.
Have a great Friday0 -

My best friend bought her a watch. I am getting the time updated evert 2 mins
Today won't be terribly OS. Well I have to empty the DW. Put a load or 2 in the WM & have a tidy round. Then make some sarnies for the party.

Morning all
Feeling shattered this morning - DH woke up at 4am and fidgetted from then on until the alarm went off - was a relief to get up but feeling a bit bleary eyed still.
House has had a quick hoover and swipe, washing up's draining and beds are made, just about to attack the ironing pile and wrap some more ebay stuff. Got some mince out for dinner last night but had the electrician here until late so didn't get chance to cook (good excuse for a visit to the chippy) so should use the mince today......thing is, no one fancies it - might just make a shepherds pie up to freeze down and have a dig in the freezer to see what else I can do for tonight.
Ordered the curtains for my new room yesterday  I normally make all my own but I don't have the space to be laying out and cutting the fabric without the use of the living room, seeing as the patio door is 108x90" I'd be hard pushed to pattern match in the 3ft at the end of my bed :rotfl: Managed to order them through a catalogue account with 10% commision, 4.5% back via quidco and found a code for another 10% off and free delivery.....eases the pocket somewhat.
Hugs to all in need, have a great day."Start every day off with a smile and get it over with" - W. C. Field.0 -

Pink - your boy is going to be a real heartbreaker when he's all grown up
Happy Birthday to missmortenharket and Miss pigpen :bdaycake:
Well I'm at work and I could've cried this morning - DD had to go to school dressed up as a character from a book for children in need this morning, she chose Bella the Bunny Fairy, nice green dress, little bunny and curly hair. So dutifully I spent 3/4 hour this morning curling her long blonde hair, then we left for school and it was bucketing down  Result - dead straight long blonde hair
Anyway, remembered to get the mince out of the freezer this morning, so it's chilli and cornbread for tea tonight
(((((hugs))))) to everyoneSquares knitted for my throw ~ 90 (yes!!! I have finally finished it :rotfl: )Squares made for my patchwork quilt ~ 80 (only the "actual" quilting to do now :rotfl:)0
