    Morning :D

I'm sat at work and don't know what to do  Not sure what happened but the wages didn't leave the bank account. So I typed a letter giving me permission to take the cash out of the bank so I can pay it into the blokes' accounts (I've done it before). But neither of the bosses have been to the office to sign it. Their mobiles are turned off. Shall I wait and hope they ring back or shall I go home?

There's lots of OS things I could be getting on with, instead of sitting here playing minesweeper and solitaire :D

    Hi everyone,

Busy this week so not had much chance to post, or read.

Excited today - my first organic veg box is due to arrive, is that sad?

Weather is dreadful, dark, dank and rainy.

    Morning!

Hope everyone is ok. Troo - If it were me, id go home!

Not much to report really, must clean the fish tank today, and get on with making the sofa covers. I started tacking them together last night, and I tried them on for size. OH is very impressed and likes them a lot! Still quite a way to go yet though, I knew it would be a bit of a big job but it saves me a stack of money so I cant complain - and I need the sewing machine practice anyway.

Anyway, must get on, im in desperate need of a shower and I must make an appt at the doctors, I woke up too late yesterday so I think ill just resort to whatever appt they can give, its not like I have much else to do at the moment! Im also definately going to go for a walk today to get some fresh air.

Hope everyone has a good day!

Well, I managed to get hold of one of the bosses, luckily they were in the same place at the same time - that hardly ever happens. I faxed the letter to them, they signed it and one of them will be here in 15 mins to drop it off. He says they didn't know  What he means is, he forgot  I know I told him, it was the last thing I said to him yesterday.

But this means I have to traipse round town. I've gone off the idea now, I was going to get it done by 11am then go home. Think I'll just nip into Iceland for minstrels and sit and do nothing this afternoon. OS can wait til tomorrow :D

I hate it when I make plans and they all go wrong

    Hi all

:grouphug: to all, whether you want one or not you're getting a hug from me!!! :rotfl:

Had a fab time in London with my sister, but didn't get to see any of the exhibitions I wanted to see so a bit  at that - especially wanted to see the Hockney at the National Portrait Gallery, and to get some shortbread from Harrods for my OH as a treat (he loves it) but the doorstaff wanted to charge me £2.50 to leave my bag with them whilst I ran upstairs to the Food Hall (would have taken me about 5mins in all) so i told them to forget it - so OH didn't get a present :(

Glad to have seen my sister - I feel much happier now I can picture where she is, and now that i know her flatmates are lovely and are looking after her!! She's coming down with a cold/flu-like thing so I asked her if she had any Lemsip etc and she said she had nothing medical at all  So I nipped to Boots for her and went into panic mode "What if she comes down with a cold and sore throat, then cuts herself and is in lots of pain and then the cut gets infected and she ends up in hospital!" so i ended up buying her Paracetamol, Lemsip, Strepsils, Plasters and Antiseptic Cream so I know that the above situation won't happen :rotfl: She was impressed at how cheaply I got her all the stuff as well as she's struggling for money, but is a believer in brands!!

Also managed to pop up to see my cousin in Queens Park for a few hours - I haven't seen her since she went travelling almost 2 years ago, so we had a lot to catch up on!!!

Thanks for all the advice about my youngest sister - I've taken to making sure I text or speak to her on MSN every day... although I wish I hadn't as last time we spoke she told me she had snogged a year 11 boy    When did she grow up?! I swear it wasn't long ago that we used to watch Pingu videos together!!

OH has decided to take up Ice Hockey... we go and watch regularly but he's decided he wants to participate  It's going to be a lot of expense initially but I think he will stick at it as he's been going on about it for a while! Just need to make sure I'm well stocked up on ice-packs and painkillers as he's going to be very bruised!!!

    Today's OS
    • Unpack suitcase
    • Washing - 2 loads
    • Put clean washing away
    • Ironing
    • General "swish" around the flat
    • Revise Xmas "To Do" List so I know exactly where I am with food & presents
    • Crack on with uni assignments - one due next thurs, one on 1st Dec and one on 7th Dec

But first I need to make myself a cuppa and catch up on my OS gossip!! :rotfl:
