Hiya everyone
Back online with my PC - the chap did come back last night, installed everything and networked my lappy to it, bless him. Have managed to save most of my pics, but not all unfortunately. Lost my database I think - at least, I can't find it and also lost al the favourites on my aol faves list!! That will take some building up again
So - moral for today : back up, BACK UP, BACK UP!
Have had my lovely new oven installed this morning :j :j I've just had it switched on to burn off all the crud so the house has that horrible smokey smell atm. But it's lovely and I can't wait to cook in it
Have put the WM and TD on so far and have cooked up another batch of mince, kidney beans and tomatoes which I've added to the uber-hot chilli in an attempt to make it bearable enough to eat :rotfl: Got the sparks to sort out a dodgy light-switch in DS2's room too. Need to tidy my bedroom and clean the dining room, now the oven has moved.
Need to get on and sort out what I want (content wise) in my website. I'll have to get my thinking head on because it really needs to be right, from the start. Shez: I did say that I was a sort of out-of-house PA, that about describes me best. And no - you're not getting a peek at my website- whilst I'm sure you are all lovely, there are some nasty trolls out there who will try and ruin it for me.
Ok - want to get a hot shower and wash my hair now I know the leccy won't be going off. I can think about what sumptious meal I can prepare for the hungry masses, in my new oven (they'll probably just want oven chips!) cos I've nowt out of the freezer and the littles won't want chilli - even if it is mild now
Have fun, ((hugs)) to those in need and  to all the newbies

Well, the DW is on, and I've cleaned half the kitchen. Stardrops is really good
Handwashed the few items that can't go in the DW- I have a silver baking tray again! Just having a sit down for a few minutes because I've gone all dizzy, and I don't think I'll get the bathroom done today. I'll stick that on the list for tomorrow. Just got to empty the dishwasher when it's done, finish the other half of the kitchen, and do some college work before I get picked up for college at 3.30.

Hi! :hello:
Another slow start for me. Was up late last night making Christmas cards, they worked out ok, I was using some decoupage pictures from a calender given away with a card making magazine and backed them on some pretty papers and trimmed them with silver outlines, even oh said they look good!
Today was veg box day and everything looks lovely, broc, carrots, pots, leeks, bananas, clementines and pears. Just need to plan some meals around them now. I have also started to use the green stayfresh bags from lakeland and they really work! All the veg I put in them last week (before I went away) is still lovely and fresh!
Just need to make a start on tonights dinner, I pace and cook in small stages so I have to start early! Tonight will be a spicy soya mince shepherds pie with carrots.
TM - I have learned that lesson to my cost when I lost dd's graduation and 21st birthday photos!:wall: Always back up anything precious to you!
Scuzz - Hope things improve for you soon love!
Shez - glad you enjoyed your trip! Nice to see you back.
Hope everyone poorly feels better soon, dd has a horrible sickness bug, feeling dizzy as well, ds had this over the weekend so I guess it is doing the rounds.

Catznine, I got my stayfresh bags this week and have put all my veg and salad in them. One thing that bothers me is, what looks like condensation inside the bags....is that what happened to yours? Am really hoping they work for me as I am fed up with throwing out veg etc.,We don't need to do it perfectly - good enough is exactly that GOOD ENOUGH.0

Just gone to look at mine and yes there is condensation in the bags I filled today but not in last weeks bags! Hopefully will be alright as last weeks veg even looks crispier (if that is possible) than when it was popped into the bags. A friend of mine even pops his hm bread into them! Our days are happier when we give people a bit of our heart rather than a piece of our mind.

Afternoon Guys!
Well I have completed half of my essay:beer: ...will do the rest either later or tomorrow and will drop it off on Friday morning at my tutors house:D Have a hospital visit on Friday so can do a full circle type thing:rolleyes:
My friend popped in for a cuppa and a natter this morning with her 9 month old baby...he's gorgeous and did get a little broody TBH:eek:
Dinner smells lovely, will do some mash to go with it later. OH went to Lidls as we needed a few bits and he did well. 5kg spuds, lettuce, cucumber, carrots, cabbage, brocolli, apples, bananas, milk, cranberry juice and yogurts for the grand total of £4.39:T ...they were also giving away Kingsmill bread so he grabbed 2 loaves for the freezer;) All the fruit and veg is half price ATM.
Downstairs has been swept through and the washload hung on the airer. DW still not full enough to go on, but it only goes on once a day anyway-so can go on later after dinner.
Had a survey to do online and have £3 of vouchers coming through to say thanks. 2 more items sold on Ebay and parceled up already to go. Determind when DD gets in to sort through her room and sort the storage issue out as its still not been done and would like it done by the weekend.
OH treated me to some luxury stuff at Boots online yesterday:o I use Clinique and Estee Lauder and they had 3 for 2 which is very unusual. I normally just buy when I need it, but bought the 3 products and saved £24.00 plus had a voucher code for an extra 500 points, so totalled to 798 points in the end, so am pleased. One product is for a pressy that I usually buy for my sister at Xmas, so got a good deal really. I think I have about £30 in points now, but will save them for the half price sales after Xmas and that will kit me out for the bulk of next years pressies;)
DD has been invited to a birthday swim/party on saturday but not sure if she wants to goIts from 4pm-9pm:eek:   ...is this mother mental or what! Have said to DD its her choice, but we have friends coming round in the evening and think she doesnt want to miss out on this. I would much rather be at a party though:p
Anyway, I have to go and call the GP for OH as he's off to collect DD in a minute and he is asleep on the sofa. Definitely not well as he never does that and fingers x'd he will win the GP lottery and get an appointment this evening.
Hugs to all.
PP
