Afternoon all
Hugs to those in need, not had time to read the thread properly today.
Been hectic here with builders/plasterers/electricians/deliveries/ebay and work but it should all quieten down a bit now. My first lot of ebay stuff this month did fantastically well (as you can see from my sig) Got a black sack full of clothes to list later this week and then another 40 or so toy items for the week after that. My aim is to pay for the new dining table and chairs that I've seen - we shall see.
OS wise - not a lot to report, I suppose the ebay sales are decluttering the house so that will have to do. Fragmented dinners tonight as we've got brownies and DH is off out, Tuesdays really are a nightmare....but once DD's are in bed and DH is out I shall kick back with a bottle of something cold and white, a decent dvd and a choccy orange (half price in WH Smiths today - how could I refuse!)

Afternoon All - Hope everyone is having a good day
I volunteered to bring some work home with me (only folding of some leaflets) - my manager did say to let her know how long it takes me so I presume I will be getting paid for this time. Didn't ask. As I offered to do it as a favour for someone. But I dont mind if they pay me lol - If I get paid I'll know to offer again !!!
Tuesdays is normally busy with cubs/scouts, but DD has decided she doesn't want to go 2night and that she wants to write a story instead. Who am I to get in the way of her writing - Will take DS, but not until 7.30pm.
Uniforms for work/school have been done, left over stew & dumplings 4 dinner. WM on again. Been home 2hrs, and just sitting down with my first brew of the evening.
DLB - we should be so lucky for Witch to move - lol ! If Only........ (thinking of a plan now)
If I got time - I 'll pop back later - if not - hope everyone has a great evening, and catch up with you all soon
Take care for now & love as usualHi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why please read the forum rules or email the forum team if you’re still unsure0 -
evening.
been a bit hectic today. We had a very disturbed night. I need to sort baby out to know difference between day and night. I was trying to settle him for two hours, and then Dh took him in the spare room for an hour before his getting up time, before i lost the plot. I think broken sleep is torture.
so this morning while he slept, i managed to get the WM on and do quite a bit of ironing (everything on the airers plus at least another foot off the ironing mountain). :j
Other than that, i have been reorganising my lists, and ordering some bits on the internet for xmas, and managed to put away last nights washing up.
If i'm not on for the next few days, my plan is:
Wed - get baby weighed, go bank, go to jewellers, go to my parents and start fly lady for xmas challenge.
Thur - go into town with my 2 sisters and try to sort out xmas shopping
Fri - may take baby in to work, or if i'm too tired, just chill at home.
Also, sis dropped the bombshell that i have to go and try on bridesmaids dresses at the start of next month. Thought that was January. I only have about half a stone to go till before baby weight, although it was another 12 pounds to before my illness weight, so i'd best get cracking. (more like, stop using the breast feeding as an excuse to sit eating chocolate and biscuits all day.
)
Shez - nice to see you back.
smokey - gosh - it's ages since she posted. Same with moggins, and tootles, and curry queen, and loads of others. hello to you all.
right, going to try and snooze for a bit while baby is.
Hugs,
Michelle, xx0 -
Hey everyone,
Thanks for all my lovely welcomes the other day.
I have made an appointment with the midwife and I am heading there on Thursday so wish me luck! I am very scared she will tell me I've made it all up (bearing in mind I've had 5 + test results and have lots of symptoms!).
I am finding it quite difficult to concentrate at work because I am so tired so I went to bed at 8.30pm last night and was asleep just after 9pm! And I'm still shattered! Feel queasy too.
O/S wise - having salmon and salad and spinach for tea (I'm trying!) with a Pregnacare vitamin for afters. I'm off on Thursday so I'll be doing a mystery shop and a little bit of tidying and cleaning but I'll mostly be sleeping.
Love to you all

Hi again
I'm waiting for my PC to come home, but I expect it'll be tomorrow now! At least I took the opportunity to take the hoover attachments and move all the those cables behind the computer desk and give it a flippin' good clean. My study is all tidy now too (I don't think Mr TM has realised I've relocated another shelf of his books so I can use it :rotfl:
My chilli was ... erm ... HOT
I bought my latest packet of chilli powder from the asian supermarket and it is super-hot compared to the stuff you get in Tesco's!! I added ore tomatoes, and half a large tub of yoghurt, but the only way I can rescue it is to make another complete batch of chilli, minus the chilli powder and mix the two together
At least it cleared Mr TM's nose (he has man-flu) :rotfl: I have another pound of mince defrosting on the draining board
Need to clear out the under stairs cupboard ready for the sparks to come tomorrow and cable in the new oven. Couldn't do it earlier as I think I may have a few pressies in there, which will be whisked upstairs tonight. And so much for giving the hall and living room a deep clean! 5 boys and the ample amounts of polstyrene packing from the oven make just a bit of mess
Right-oh. Off to make a start on the LR (again) They have bagged up all the big pieces (3 black bags!) but the vac is having another outing now.
:hello: to all the newbies and to any other lurkers and non-posting old timers who happen across this

:T We are now a 2 freezer family:T
I have been looking for a small freezer that I could put in the garage, for the overflow from the house, very restricted when Mr T has good meat offers etc as my freezer in the house is usually chock a block after I have done the monthly shop. Found one today in the local paper, £45 but the lady took £3 off for an early sale:j :j
It is resting after its journey right now, tomorrow I will give it the stardrops and bicarb treatment and then plug it in and freeze it up, will then be off to Iceland, we use ready sliced bread for toast in the mornings and they have wholemeal for 60p a loaf (2 for £1.20) 58p off 2 loaves, not bad!!! I can fill one drawer with bread and move some of the fruit from the house freezer until its needed for pies etc. I can also make a couple of loaves in the bread maker and store them, save me running out just at the wrong moment.
Thankfully OH is ok today, I have to go to the Dr's tomorrow for the appointment from last week,:D am going to have a word with her about claiming some sort of an allowance for him, I really need to be with him all the time, 'just in case' he has collapsed on the bus and on one famous occasion at Heathrow waiting for a flight to land, he was collecting someone........  these attacks have been getting more frequent, he has had 3 this year.I know they cannot do anything about it, which makes it very frustrating......
Well I am feeling very tired, so am going to make myself a hottie and crawl into bed with my book for an hour.......
See ya'll tomorrow....................Was 13st 8 lbs,Now 12st 11 Lost 10 1/4lbs since I started on my diet.0 -
Hiya,
Just woke up and having my cuppa. Bit overcast today. It was great to see YS. He is *pretending* to be asleep
on the couch behind me while I loudly type this out. We've also watched the news on telly very loudly. I forget how tall he is. He towers over DH. To think he was the shortest kid in school all through the years and now over 6ft.
Plans for today are work at the house. Surprise!! Painting to be exact. Did all the trims yesterday & front door with undercoat so I will continue on with that. Not too sure what I will have for tea tonight as YS is fussy.
XDIL & DGS went to playgroup over on their island yesterday and really enjoyed it. Lots of other mum's there so good place to meet new friends for her.
Well best make a start. Shez we have booked for Feb.
Hope you all have a great night's sleep. Byeeeeeeee Don't worry about the world coming to an end today. It's already tomorrow in Australia.
