Morning All
Welcome to VIVW
Not good start here today - seemed to have a good nights sleep but as have PMT at the moment everything seems like hard work and I would love just to go back to bed! Made worse today as just checked buss bank account and main client still hasnt paid me (its over 2 weeks late now) so I cant put through the wages today. Will tel them when they open 9am but they will just say its going in tom. It is a large multi national company so I know I will get the money but the cashflow is all over the place at the moment.
Main admin day today but as I ended up not doing anything yesterday have also got to keep going in and out of the office to keep feeding wm. Also need to tidy swish toilets and mop kitchen floor - its not astronomical but when I have pmt a molehill def feels like a mountain.
Sorry for a miserable post, I know in a couple of days I will feel fine again I dont know how people do it when they have depression.
Anyway best get on - hope you all have better days.0 -
Good morning Chums ,

Hope everyone has a good day .I am off out tonight for a family meal as my gorgeous eldest grandson is 16 today. He towers over me and has a tendency to pat me on the head like a little dog , bless him he is a scallywag, but I love the bones off him. Take care everyone0 -
Morning All - (((((hugs))))) to those who need them
DD all excited to go to school, she is going on a trip 2day. She has also been selected for the part as Mary in this years nativity play - thats the 2nd time so far. Bless her.
Hope my car starts this morning, never had a problem in the 4years of having it until recently. Thats all I need - more expense b4 Xmas.
Finally got ebay parcels wrapped ready to post later after work.
2 of my neighbours are having fence issues with a lady we call "witch" (DLB can refer to this). Its a long story - but only to wake up (in my dream) and find the fence have been moved 2ft away from my kitchen window. Im not even involved in the dispute - funny.
Just done my lunch for work, off 4 a shower now
Take care peeps - have a nice day

Morning to all of you, Hi to Amie and hope all is well with you GR.
You sound chirpy this a.m. Pennypincher.
I have SC on, BM on, WM on, TD on, will someone let the national grid know that all leccy diverted to South West England!!! I have put a line load out on the line though it is hanging rather limply out there. I need to get up to date before we go away at the weekend.
I am about to tackle the ironing but not feeling like it, I never feel like ironing.
I had to get up early this morning to take DD1 to work, then go with DS to take his car in for service so I have been up for hours and hours.
DH found out yesterday following an MRI that he has 2 slipped discs in his back. He has had so much trouble with his back. He had a laminectomy 20 years ago and a coxegectomy 3 years ago and now this, he must wonder how much longer it can carry him before it gives up all together.
Hugs to all who need it, I am off to do the ironing.

Morning all
(((hugs))) and congrats to all as appropriate.
Busy day here. I have a woman from the regional paper coming in a couple of hours time to do "a feature" on me and my new business, so really must get the living room cleaned. I am currently surveying the mess as left by 2 small boys
Got the mince out of the freezer and will be making a chilli later. Will give the kitchen a wipe over but a proper clean will have to wait as I'm having the oven wired in tomorrow so there will be floorboards etc up. WM is already on and BM was on overnight so the kitchen smells nice. Will put a banana loaf on in a little while as I hae 3 over-ripe nanas to use up. Need to get the office sorted out as I have put "stuff" in there in the past couple of days and the desk has disappeared. All because I've not been sat in there cos the PC is still at the PC hospital
Waiting for an ebay parcel to turn up - treated myself to a pink leather laptop caseWhy not eh? :rotfl: Just taken delivery of a parcel - but it was for my neighbour....
Anyway, hope you all have a great day. Catch ya all later

Morning all!
Welcome to vivw and Amie:hello:
Congratulations on the job Tinkerbelle:j
Snowy - I've got a long shift too so I know how you feel, am doing an 11 till 10 followed by a sleep-in followed by a 7 till 5 ! so am away from home from 10.30 today till 5.30pm tomorrow:eek: still I've got 2 days off then;)
Having problems with DS2 at the moment, cant get him to get moving in the morning:mad: I wake him at 8 and he's got an hour to get up and go but it was 5 past and he was still here! its so stressfull having to keep shouting him to get up. Have told him I'm with-holding £1 a day from him PM for every day he's not up on time, he gets £5 a week.
A stressful week at work too as we've no kitchen this week so all our service users have to go out for their meals and us too which takes some organising! - I work with adults with visual impairments and additional disabilities.
Have a great day folks and I'll be back tomorrow evening to catch up on the news.
Take care all xxDo what you love :happyhear0 -
:hello: Morning!
Just downing a :coffee: before I head off to Aldi. It is only around the corner for me so not far to go, just got to avoid the temptation to grab all the bargains while I am thereI only need cat food, milk, tights and bacon.
Spent yesterday doing a couple of surveys, it will all help towards Christmas, just need a few more pigsback points and I can claim another boots voucher too.:j I have these lined up to cover a couple of benefit make up kits for pressies.
Hope the job is going well for you Snowy!
Hugs to all
Catz xOur days are happier when we give people a bit of our heart rather than a piece of our mind.

Morning all, welcome Aimie and Vivw and hugs to all the poorly ones.
Also - well done on the new job Tink! Hope Snowys's doing ok.
I haven't posted for a while as I have been getting used to the new life. New job going really well, really pleased I moved. Not used to the two days a week off, I want to be really organised but seem to end up aimslessly wandering around starting things and then putting the kettle on! MUST GET MY ACT TOGETHER TODAY! Um, that means getting off here RIGHT NOW!
will come back later
love y'allWe must not, in trying to think about how we can make a big difference, ignore the small daily differences we can make which, over time, add up to big differences that we often cannot foresee.
