  • Hi everyone :hello:

Welcome to Amie, VIVW(did I get that one right?? ) and Sured.

Got absolutely soaked through this morning. Had to go into town after dropping DD at school. The rain waited until I had parked the car and was walking into town. By the time I got to the shops, I was soaked through. Still, got all the jobs done then a quick whizz round the supermarket to get the bits and pieces I need. Have done my paid-to-clicks and they are racking up quite nicely. That's some of the birthday presents sorted for early next year. :D Need to go and actually get some housework done as there are some jobs just crying out to be done.

Going to check Sainsbury's website to see if they post the recipes that Jamie Oliver does in the adverts. Really liked the sound of the chestnut, butternut squash and bacon one that I saw last night - and I have all the ingredients. :j

Congratulations Tinkerbell on the new job. Mirakl and Bargain sorry to hear about your grandparents.

Hope today is a good one for everybody.

    Welcome new people!!

Mirakl and Bargain I hope the grandaparents are better soon, even if that means they are no longer suffering ((hugs)).. and the cat is ok..

I'm back from college.. I did a grand total of very little while there.

Dinner is in the SC .. turkey casserole.. with bits of chicken..

I am going to practice my cheese straw baking later and request a breadmaker on freecycle.. well.. you never know!!

Baby is now off to bed for a nap and I will make a start on cleaning something!! Oh.. I may eat too seeing as I am starving!!

Iv just finished clearing out dd room!!!!!!!! 3 bin bags of rubbish later it just needs hoovering and dusting. Trying to claim my dinning room back from the kids, they have had it as a play room for a few months now, so dont think they will be best impressed when they get home from school as its almost clear now of all toys!!!
Want it back as a proper dinning room again in time for xmas!!

Just been spending some time trying to work out if i have the guts to try and claim back my bank charges, im still undecided!!!

In the past i have threatened my DD with a cold flannel gently rubbed on her face!! Strangely enough i have never had to carry out the threat!;)

Got DH to take me to leeds where I did a bit of Christmas pressie shopping.
Got jewellery for DD, a few bits and bobs, book for other DD and then got a stuffed chicken breast from Aldi that I put in the freezer ready for Christmas.

Making a huge quiche for tea but popped on here first.

    Hugs to everybody feeling poorly.

:hello: Welcome to MSE OS Amie, vivw and sured :D:D:D
Always lovely to have fresh faces :j :j

Two out of three deliveries came today ... when I was out :rotfl: :rotfl: Phoned to rearrange for another day as soon as I got home, so I'm feeling super efficient ;)

Had a free lunch today, and very nice it was too! Roast chicken, stuffing, roast potatoes, brocolli/cauli au gratin and mashed swede/carrot - this means the lads can have their fav ... pizza  ... with salad because we're on quick turn around with Spanish lessons to get to.

Still on my "to do" is:-
~ remove from freezer one of the hm 'ready meals' I prep'd a few weeks ago for tomorrow.
~ prep/lay out everyone's bits and bobs for the morning
    ~ pack lunches for tomorrow
    ~ review Spanish notes

Caught up with phone calls yesterday, so any others can wait a couple of days; text messages up to date; correspondence up to date.

Oh and need to make a birthday card for tomorrow for someone! Shouldn't take very long.

    Enjoy your afternoon/evening
