Welcome to Amie399
WELL DONE Tinkerbelle!!!!!
((HUGS)) to everyone who wants or needs one xxx
Only one little one here today, and she is with her mum this morning as she has an appointment for something, so im taking the opportunity to finish my xmas shopping!!!! I know exactly what i need, had wanted to get it on Saturday, but DS and DD wouldnt leave me alone (they know when its something for them!!!) and as most of it was for them, i couldnt get it!!!! I have written a list, so i'll be a woman on a mission as i stomp up and down Plymouth high street later!!!!! I am so looking forward to not having any more to do.
Will also be popping into Lidls on the way home, although the staff have said they havnt had any geese in, and dont think they will be getting any, but i do want to check. I have my mum looking out for one where she lives so i do have a back up (she managed to get herself one, but didnt realise i needed one) so hopefully one of the shops will get some in!!!!
Right, off to get my 2 out of bed and then make their packed lunches.
Hope everyone has a lovely day
Take care xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx0 -
Morning all
Soz, been busy lately so haven't posted, have been reading though. x
(((hugs))) to all that need them.
From next Tuesday I shall be working 9-30 till 2-30 Tues-Fri, I have finally got rid of my weekends! This also means I can be more organised!
I am chuffed!
Today I need to go & get party food for DD's birthday party on Friday. Need to make 2 cakes. One simple one to cut up & put in the party bags before the party & one LOVELY one for the party for her to blow the candles out. She is an OS'er in the making cos she said, homemade cakes are cheaper than the shop & healthier!
I also am making fairy cakes & biscuits. TBH, the rest shall be bought. Its sarnies, sausages & the uaual party fayre!
I have got such a sore throat today, uuggg. Have had honey & lemon.
Right, need to dry my hair, get the kids dressed & make the lunch boxes

Morning Guys!
GR-Grab a wheelchair from the hospital and a porter should assist you whilst being there. Good luck. Hugs.xx
Didnt sleep to well again last night. OH went to the cinema last night and didnt get in till late and just found it difficult to sleep
WM is on with whites, DW isnt full enough to go on yet. Toilet, kitchen and lounge clean and tidy.
I must crack on with my essay today:rolleyes: ....I really dont want too but know I have too. Just cant seem to get me brain in gear ATM as im so tired and in pain.
OH is going to organise DD's bedroom with the new underbed storage we bought a few weeks back and hopefully this will simplify things as she keeps loosing HW and letters.
Ebay did well last week and have already been pain over £30 into my Paypal account, so have about 6 items to send off. There only bras and an Xbox game so wont cost alot to post. Have another 15 listings on as it was 10p listing yesterday and have 6 people watching the Xbox. Some of DD's games sold last night so that will buy a couple of others she wants.
Must cancel my Electricity DD today as Im now with anither cheaper supplier and they will try and take the dosh from my account come the 25th again-so will call and cancel.

Morning everyone
Welcome Amie399
Smokey112 if you still tune in - Happy Birthday -
Didn't have as much of a productive day yesterday as I had hoped. My back had been a bit sore on Sunday and then yesterday after cleaning the bathroom I could hardly move so I ended up doing stuff that didn't require much movement. Had a huge pile of paperwork to go through and that is all done now :T
Back is still a bit sore so again won't do much today. I am off to my sister's for lunch anyway. Before I go there I might pop to Tesco. Have some vouchers to use. Was going to change them for a clubcard deal thingy but I don't have that much and they will be better used for us in store.
Made potato wedges for the first time yesterday. Dunno why I have never done that beforeEven if I do say so myself they were yummy. Will definately do them again.
Have a great day everyone0 -
Morning all.
I'm new here and not sure how much I can post cos will go back to work next week when hopefully my chest infection will have gone.
Was wondering what to have for breakie but Penny-pincher, you have solved it for me....beans on toast
Have loads to do today, including the dreaded stairs. Also have to make up the spare bed as we have a friend staying tonight after Morris practice.
time now to put the toast on and find a tin of beans...bye for now.....We don't need to do it perfectly - good enough is exactly that GOOD ENOUGH.0 -
:hello: Goooooooood Morning fellow OS'ers
Just a quick 20 mins whip round left to do before I have to go out today - furbaby/chook n quails fed/watered; lunches were done last night after dinner as were uniforms/bags ready for the morning; fridge cleaned/emptied, bins done and out (they come at 6am!) 2 basket loads of ironing were accomplished while I watched my Spanish revision DVD last night; beds/rooms aired and just need the beds making and windows closing.
Made some online orders over the weekend for the materials I need for some HM Christmas gifts ... hoping they'll arrive in the next few days so I can get on with crafting over the weekend. Also have a friends birthday to celebrate over the weekend so I need to get to the shops and pick up something special from her wishlist (nopeyeven *I* can't make these  )
Have a wonderful day, ((hugs)) for those who want/need them:wave:

Morning Everyone :hello:
Managed to get my tasks done when I got home from w*** last night so quite pleased. The kitchen cupboards really need emptying and cleaning out but thats a job for the weekend I think.
2 weeks to go until me and MR LMLOD go on hols, cannot wait. W*** has been really stressful lately so it'll be lovely to have some time off. Being off ill recently doesn't count!
B - Cereal
L - Chicken Sandwiches - OH has forgotten his so he'll be having them for dinner
D - I'm meeting a friend for dinner so hopefully cheap which sounds awful!!
Have a good day everyone xxIts nice to be important but more important to be nice!0 -
Good Morning to everyone
Hi Amie :hello:
I'm sorry to all of the people who had bad nights, the winter weather helps me sleep like a log and I slept for 9 hours last night.
Ds has got a (regular) supply teacher that he can't stand today (she equally can't stand him), haven't told him yet. I am unsure whether to take this up with someone as another parent came up to me in the playground and told me that this teacher had been really harsh on him. Have spoken to his regular class teacher who said they have to get in who ever they can at short notice.
Dd and I are going to try our local park today, apparently they have new equipment in which is good as it really was a dive before. We too have ebay parcels to post and a parcel to pick up from the post office depot.
Dinner tonight is a lovely piece of brisket to be turned into a pot roast, I have only just taken it out of the freezer so hope it defrosts by later on this afternoon.
Got to go now, have a good day everyone and good luck to Gingham Ribbon at the hospital.0 -

Good morning everybody! :hello:
I’m barely awake.I think I may have mentioned before that I am not a morning person. You have no idea how much I envy those of you who are capable of being bright, breezy and pleasant in the morning!
Anyway….
Mr Pink and the eldest two have already been despatched to work/school. I’m sitting here nursing a cup of coffee and trying to cajole the youngest one to try to put more than one item of clothing on before he gets distracted and comes and asks me another question! Why are six year olds so talkative in the morning?
My plans for today are; more cleaning of kitchen cupboards, another fight with the wireless router, making a steak and kidney pie for tea, the usual after school stuff and going to work this evening.
Congratulations tinkerbell on getting the job. :j
I’ll maybe post later when I feel more human, but in the meantime…….
Have a great Tuesday everyone!
Pink0
