    Thanks Taxi!

Still busy! I am feel like am losing control a bit so DH and I are going to focus on getting back to normal today. There are quite a few jobs to do.

I slept really badly last night and it feels like it'll be a hard day with aunt flo visiting!

    Today's list:
Washing - there's at least three loads to do this weekend!
Ironing - the pile is a mountain
    Clean kitchen
    Clean bathroom
    Post eBay parcel
Post gift to best friend who is confined to bed rest
Visit mother in law in hospital
    Call/visit grandma
Get some sunshine - need to boost my Vit D as I am deficient.
Load some items on eBay if I have time.
Pick up some Euros For short break

    Better get up and moving.

Hope you have a good day.

    Hi Everyone,

Well the anniversay in Brugge was lovely. It was great for ulus to get away. DH and I found food expensive but I think we are used to eating out with vouchers!

Have been feeling a bit sad - it's coming up to mum's birthday. My brother and sil have done something that I feel is disrespectful to my dad and I can't let it go. This is one of my real issues, things get to me and I hold it in the pit of my stomach - not necessarily dealing with it but getting upset and not being able to let it go. I really need to learn on how to work on that.

We still haven't decided on Lino - one of the big chains has an offer so we are going to get an estimate this week.

I've also decided to change my WW subscription the online version. I've not good experiences of going to classes recently so I am going to try and do it on my own.

Right better get on - we are going to tackle the wilderness that I like to call the garden this morning!

Glad you had a good time in brugges - but sorry you have issues to be dealing with elsewhere. It does all take time to work through, but each year gets a little easier and a little less crammed with pain of one sort or another x

    Enjoy the garden today :)

I finally got round to updating my signuture. It's not looking bad at the moment. I don't think I'll achieve my £10000 goals for either the mortgage or the home improvement goals but the overpayments have really helped.

DH and I managed to get loads done in the garden. We mowed the lawn for the first time this year (to be honest - we had to use the hedge trimmer to get started) and I managed to cut back the brambles. The brambles got me back and I have very scratched arms. Note to self - remember to a wear long sleeved top when attacking the brambles!

A low spend day £4 to get my eyebrows threaded.

Not much else to say - hope you are all well.

    Hello everyone,

Not really had much time to come online or even had much to say.

I managed to achieve 6 NSDs against my target of 10 - still not great at planning!
I won't even talk about the grocery challenge - DH shopping with me is a nightmare! I really have to get him to learn about keeping the cost of food down.

Was paid today - it'll be tight but I am determined to
    a) not use the CC and
    b) not go overdrawn.

This month I am going to deal in cash only! This will be a real challenge for me as it is a discipline I really need to get to grips with. I think I may even have use envelopes a'la Hypno (I knew saving all those envelopes from CC companies would come in handy!)

Right - going to try and cool down before I head to bed.

    Hope you are all okay

    Hi,

Thought I'd update to motivate myself and to recognise that even small steps are moves forward.

    Today I
    - had a low spend day (just my evening meal before my voluntary shift - chips yummy)
    - did not buy anything at the local shop or coffee shop even though I walked there with a colleague to get some fresh air
    - did not eat any chocolate
    - took my lunch into work
    - managed to get my 5 a day
    - had a short walk instead of getting the bus
    - put a £2 coin in the sealed pot

While none of these things are major, they are all things that I can battle with. As so many say - 'babysteps'!

    Hope you are all okay!
