Not been on for a while. I've been up and down and don't want to make this a depressive post but I think it might be!

I am still shattered; have been spending money on stuff - mainly make up:eek:; the weight is going on; I am not exercising at all etc etc.

I need to get back into control in so many ways. Reading so many positive posts is helping but I really need to take my own action to get back in the game.

I was working late tonight - I was on a bit of a roll so wanted to get things done. As I left work and waited for a bus (should've walked to the station) I saw an awful accident at the crossing near work - a student got hit by a car. I hope that he will be okay - I went to get help but there was not much I could do and I didn't want to stop and stare.

Right - will stop being so down and head off to bed. I think a good night's sleep is desparately needed!

Hope all is well with you all - I can see so many of you making progress and it really lovely to see.

Sorry to hear you are feeling down urg, I find this nice weather doesn't help. When it's nice I feel nice and bright and breezy then get down about being in work. When it's not so nice it can get you down. Horrible about the accident, not a nice thing to see.

    Morning all,

I am so sick of waking up tired. I have absolutely no energy! I got some news from the nurse yesterday - I do have a vitamin deficiency but need to wait for the GP to decide what happens next - unfortunately he is on holiday next week grrrrrrr!

Today DH and I need to go and try find some Lino for the kitchen floor. That will then be the kitchen finished. We've also got to do a food shop because the cupboards are rather bare! I have voucher that i can use if we soend a certain amount!

I am also going to try to -
    - list a few things on eBay (free listing weekend)
    - put on a load or two washing
    - clean bathroom
    - ironing
    - call a couple of friends to say hi
    - finish a couple of things for work.

Lots to do - hoPe you are all okay and have a fab weekend.

    Morning

I've been awake for a while but am only just contemplating getting up! it's getting quite hot at night - I think we'll have to change the diver today!

Yesterday was not a bad day - I managed to do the shopping, a load of washing and had a great rime at my shift in my voluntary job.

Today we'll be visitng my dad so I think I will make a pasta bake to save us having to get take away food. Lots of housework to do but I seem to have a bit more energy today so hope I will get some of it done.

I have also started to read The Secret - have read so much about t on here that I thought I'd give it a go. Interesting ...

Right - will get up now and jump in the shower. The rest of the morning will be housework and a bit of time on the computer if I can to load a few items on eBay as it is a free listing weekend.

Hope you all have good days

    Evening

Not a bad day today. I even managed to get an item listed on eBay. Something that has needed to go for ages! Unfortunately, I haven't been able to get anything else on as the website is playing up. I'm still pleased with myself as it is one of those things I keep putting off.

I managed to get a fair amount of ironing done this morning so the pile isn't falling over anymore. I will be aiming to get to the bottom of the pile by the end of the week. I also spoke to one of my best friends who lives overseas - it's her birthday today and it was lovely to have a chat with her. Unfortunately another friend is in hospital - not sure what is wrong but she hopes to be out tomorrow.

Need to get to work early tomorrow so am going to try and get an early night. I will get my things ready for tomorrow; treat myself to facemask and read a little more of my book.

Money news - I haven't spent a huge amount this weekend - DH kindly paid for our grocery shopping which means that there is a little more to play with this month. I have set aside some spending money for our trip at the end of the month to celebrate our first anniversary. I am looking forward to getting away.

Hope the week goes well for you all.

    Oops - 10 day later!

Life feels very busy at the moment. Am still very tired and need more blood tests.

I had my First probationary meeting today and that went well - was quite nervous but manager gave me really strong feedback plus some things to work on. Work has been really busy and have been working late quite a lot recently.

A number of family illnesses/ ops etc going on right now so we really need to be there for family.

Money stuff is not going too well - I've lost my focus - there's just too much going on.

Not sure I'll get an relaxing time over the next few days as I need to get the flat back into shape and hospital visits.

At least I have bank holiday weekend to look forward to - DH and I are going away for our anniversary! Can't wait!

    Hope you are all ok!
