Am very drained today - it could be the comedown after copious amounts of sugar!
Have been off work since last Friday and still don't feel like I've had any me time or time to just 'be'. Going to see Dad tomorrow and will be helping to clear some of mum's things. I know i'll find it hard but it must be done. Hopefully I'll get some time to get my legs and eyebrows done before I head off for a ben weekend this Friday. Not sure I'm looking forward to it as I am so very, very tired.
Off to bed shortly - hopefully I'll have more energy tomorrow!

Well today wasn't too bad.
The day started with a visit to the local beauty salon for defuzzing and a pedicure. The pedicure was just what I needed - about an hour sitting in a massage chair and getting pampered. I did feel sorry for the girl who got my feet - but she did a fab job!
Spending time with dad was nice. He had a plan of which areas he wanted to get done and we just worked away at it. I am still finding it hard to let some of mum's things go and have come back home with a bagful of stuff!!! There is still lots to do - but a couple of hours at a time when I visit should keep making a dent into it. We then went to have dinner with my gran, aunt and uncle which was nice - she made one of my favourites!
In money news - my gran slipped me a tenner (I tried to refuse but she wouldn't have any of it!) so I will use it tomorrow to spend on something nice for me! I have also opened a new ISA with Nationwide. I will put the savings that I have made so far into here to get the best interest rate before I have to pay off the CC. As I am close to the full amount. I will try to save a higher amounts so I don't have to dip into the ISA as much when I have to withdraw the money.
Hope everyone else in diaryland is okay. Am off to bed now - very tired.

It took me years to finish sorting my dad's stuff.....it was only when I moved at Christmas that I finally completed it. I do wish I had done it sooner though. Well done you - just do it in your own time, and run with whatever emotion comes - sometimes it is hard, sometimes surprisingly not!
Pedicure sounds fab - my post-marathon feet could do with one of those too!!

Thanks Hypno
It also makes me realise how much 'stuff' I have too. I really do have to work at decluttering my own life.
Today is a fun day. I am meeting an old friend from uni for lunch; a spot of shopping so I can make a few savings while in duty free tomorrow; pick up holiday cash for hen weekend and dinner in town with DH. It's the first day this week that I feel like I am doing things for me!
I've been up for ages and so far have put on a load of washing and cleared a pile of paper that has been there for too long! I will get on with some ironing to try and keep up and do a bit more clearing.
But first a cup of coffee and a bit of surfing!

So the last few days have been fun - thursday was lunch with a good friend, a touch of shopping followed by dinner with DH. I then went off with my flatmate for her hen weekend which was lovely. The best part was yesterday when we spent the morning at the thermal baths. I could have spent all day there and was the first time in ages that I felt relaxed and energised.
Not sure what we have planned for today - hoPefully it's a nice day where we can chill out although there are alot of people i need to contact/visit.
Off to catch up on a few diaries.

Thanks all! Would lOve it to stay like that so need to make sure that my 'me' time is not the but that gets left out.
Today I've got my blood test and then I'm Taking my flatmate's sister shopping which will be fun. I've got a few voluntary job things to organise and would like to do a bit of housework today.
Back to work tomorrow - where did my holiday go!
