HI Buffy and Taxi,
Thankfully stomach bug has passed but it has left me shattered. The good news is that I lost a couple of lbs!
I managed a NSD yesterday and didn't end up going to dinner tonight so a little more money saved.
I'm really annoyed with my brothers - I bought them a gift experience for their birthday and they haven't used it and it has run out. I guess that's another way to make money for the companies but I'm really annoyed. I wished they would have enjoyed it rather than let the money go down the drain. Oh well - there's not a lot I can do.
Buffy - re the Bond - the interest rates aren't great but it's nice to be able to know that there is money put aside for another time.
Hope all is okay with you all.

glad you're over the tummy bug...
that's terrible of your brothers what a waste0 -
I don't think they meant to do it - one of them is busy with a new baby and the other one is struggling with his own issues - I just feel like I wasted a lot of money that they didn't get to enjoy. I suppose I can say that at least I got the quidco cashback on them!
Better head to bed soon! will catch with you all.

Phew - my brother just called and told me that he had misread the dates. They have booked to go on BH Monday. I feel better now!
It is really raining here and I really am not motivated today at work! need to get off the internet and get some things done!
Hope you are all okay in diaryland!

I can't believe its been nearly a month since I last posted. Things have been very busy - especially at the weekends. This also means that it has been very expensive. I have been keeping up with my spending diary but the amount spent recently is really quite disgusting!!! While most has been accounted for it does leave things quite tight.
There have been birthdays and weddings. We went to a good friend's wedding reception last night and stayed at a nearby hotel. Beautiful grounds an it would have been nice to stay and enjoy it but sadly DH had to go to work today so we came back early. Had rather a lot to drink last night so am a little delicate!
I have quite a lot to get done and am inspired by Buffy's decluttering and Taxi's regular exercise so here's my list for today:- Washing
- Ironing 1 hour
- Empty dishwasher
- Sort pile of paperwork in living room
- 20 mins walk (maybe into town to pick up some supplies)
- Sort one shelf of clothes in wardrobe
- Update finances
- Check bank accounts
- Visit dad and brother

Sounds like you've been busy and are likely to be busy again and nice to see you posting0

Glad to see you about, and also glad that you are having a good time of it! As for the spends - you can see where they are, so you can address them going forward.
Have a good week

Lovely to see you xxx and boy have you been busy!
I have stalled on the decluttering front got two bags (well piles) in the conservatory for charity but until I can get rid of the pet cages I can't do the rest of the cupboards, much like Mr Bloater (excellent new diary) I am playing shed tetris.........
hope you get your list done xxxNevertheless she persisted.0
