How many items can I list at any one time. I was just about to list another skirt and it said fee for this item £1.91. Is that because I will go over my listing allowance. Why would fee be so high I have not done anything differently.

With the people who buy at car boots etc to sell on ebay....... if you, for example, go to a boot sale and buy £10 worth of stuff and most of it does not sell, how do you enter that for tax? Because you have incurred the entrance fee, petrol, buying cost, but nothing coming in to set that against. Thank you :)

          3. Thanks to NoSelfDiscipline and Skylight for the postage advice. That's really useful. I'll give my old granny-style scales a go, but fear I may need a digi pair (I think I'll have a look on ebay!!!)

Thanks guys. Am still waiting for some decent bids - not got any yet £1.24 with 27 watchers!!! It's driving me mental. At least I am back at work and can only check it at lunchtime and breaktime instead of EVERY five minutes at home. Not sure that I will make my fortune with ebay but I guess every little helps.

I noticed in someones post they mentioned selling a half used bottle of perfume. I was just wondering do half used products sell well? It's just i have lots of items that i start using perhaps once or twice and decide i don't like the product or it doesn't work for me. Perfumes, hair products etc...

I've done it. As long as you take a pic to clearly show how much is left it should be fine.

I've had cross stitch magazines listed and they didn't sell very well, got a few left so will relist those for 99p and see how they go this time. I just post mine in A4 brown envelopes taped up with parcel tape across the joins to stop it coming apart.
