  • I also buy the mailing bags on Ebay, I buy the white ones and just write on them in biro (our printer is tempermental and sometimes won't work so I can't print off labels). I also buy the padded mailing bags from Poundland, the 99p Store or from Wilkinson, depends what size I need.

    Evening ladies and 3 gents,

Have listed 20. Was going to list the other 60 that are ready to go but then had a sudden panic as I remembered previous occasions where too many items sold, the buyers paid on the same day and I started to dread opening up my email account. So will wait to Sunday and Monday to put more on. I am refusing to look to see how things are going!

Have also to do my tax return, sort out paperwork for my new employee, panic about returning to work and somehow clean the house by Sunday..and get up early tomorrow to get 3 children ready and out to school:eek: Guess I won't be sleeping too well tonight :rotfl:

Could someone send me a link or two for mailing bags that are not sold by a heavy smoker please? I've been using blue ones in various sizes but have noticed that there are only a couple left...and they still smell of smoke

    Hi all,

I finally managed to place my first auction on Ebay last night, so far no bids! Tried to put more things on and then got stuck with the Paypal verification thing, so am now waiting for a paypal transaction to show on my statement so I can verify it, then I can pay ebay the 12p listing fee for my next item. Have had a look about and I have loads of old electricals etc, the only problem is the price of postage might put people off. Also tried to list a vintage leather jacket, but it's really heavy and the most I could put down for postage was £4. Once Paypal is sorted, I'll get going again and maybe just wait for the free listings at the weekend. It's quiet exciting really! x
