. I want to be able to send it but normally only use Royal Mail and have never sent anything this big before. Anyone know any cheap, reliable couriers?
You could either do a collect only on the item on check out https://www.parcel2go.com for various courier prices. I believe that on the eBay board there is a courier thread that will be able to offer you alternatives as well.Mortgage start September 2015 £90000 MFiT #060 -

Have decided to sell my Willow Tree figures - only have four that have survived DD but they just sit there and they might make a few Pounds between them. Have found out a couple of old coats too but getting a good picture is proving difficult.Moving on up

I have been going through my books today and decided not to list anymore. I have lots of medical ones from when I didn't start my degree...... But checking out prices on Ebay/Amazon, I have decided not to as why would someone buy from me when Amazon are selling new ones with free P&P for little more than the postage costs on mine (especially the really heavy ones!) I would make next to nothing. They aren't even the sort of books a charity shop are likely to sell!
Plus my photography ones, most are hardbacked and heavy - postage costs just doesn't make them worthwhile.
I have a retired Cherished Teddy that looking at past sale prices make no more than 99p so I think that I don't have a lot else to put on!0 -
morning everyone
I have been reading through this thread and it has inspired me to get selling.
I have taken photos and listed info - just need to load it up onto 'the' website. My next problem was going to be postage costs but that has just been answered so i have printed off postage rates so onto working out them costs and then away i go!!!!:D
Skylight - regarding selling books have you looked at green metropolis - this is website that deals with 2nd hand books - might be worth a look http://www.greenmetropolis.com
ThanksAlmost there :j0 -
I noticed in someones post they mentioned selling a half used bottle of perfume. I was just wondering do half used products sell well? It's just i have lots of items that i start using perhaps once or twice and decide i don't like the product or it doesn't work for me. Perfumes, hair products etc...Mortgage - £105,5000

I have sold loads of part used bottles of cosmetics - people like to try them (especially any expensive brands) before they buy and this is the ideal way to do that. Give it a go!Cross Stitch Cafe 2011 - no 58 :A

Since Christmas I have sold 2 bottles of Kerastase hair products - one for £5 and one for £7.00, a half used bottle of Gucci Perfume and a bottle of Moroccan hair oil (about 80% left) for £20.00.
I would avoid used things that are going to go on the eyes or mouth, but anything else sells well if its a big brand. If people are getting half a product for half what they would pay then they feel like they are getting a good dealMoving on upSPC #382 ~ £40 banked
