Got quite a lot of used clothing to get listed (am hoping to find some more when I finish sorting all the clothes out), am waiting for the next free listing day, am hoping they will have another one this weekend as the kids are away Sunday so I could spend the evening listing, will probably list a lot of it still even if it is not free listing.
Just concerned about the message I had last time so I will be listing on my other private account.Sealed Pot Challenge #0160 -

Hope everyone's selling is going well. Unfortunately, just had to open an unpaid case for the one sale I got for the last free listing. Grrrr. Oh well. Waiting for the next free listing to list a bunch of things.
On a good note, managed to sell 3 pieces of office furniture to a nice couple through Gumtree for £110. Gave them a good discount for buying all three but given the number of no shows I've had from Gumtree, well worth it!
Here's to another free listing day soon!!!!!!!!! Make Me Rich This Year eBay & Gumtree

I was rather pleased this afternoon. I listed my daughters pink ds lite as the touch screen was temperamental so we replaced with another console from a local selling site. The replacement cost me £35 and her old one sold today for £23!!!0

Hi all, well done on all your ebaying, you have all done so well. Can I just ask, when you send out your items, do you always post them recorded delivery or just get proof of postage? Heard lots lately where buyers say they 'haven't arrived' so just wondered.0

I always use standard second class postage and in 7 years since I discovered eBay I have only ever had one item go missing. I always get proof of posting and if you do have something go missing, as long as its £46 or under, you can claim from the Royal Mail for the lost item with standard delivery.
I often offer recorded too but 99.9% of buyers don't choose that option. I wouldn't either. Royal Mail is generally very reliable in my experience. Maybe its just good in my area.
I use RM for all our parcels and letters at work and again just one lost parcel in a few yearsNot been here in years! Hi everyone. Make £10 a day challenge = £78.45/1550 -
Thanks for the info. One other question, a while ago, well probably about a year ago, I was hooked on a thread on here, with people giving hints and tips on what to sell on ebay, ie someone took their dyson hoover apart and sold off the parts, someone else picked glass stones off the beach and they sold, I just can't find the thread anywhere, it was really long, so thought it might still be going or a new thread going. Does anyone know where I can find this thread? Sorry, probably a long shot.0
