I was worried about that when I took my 20 items to the post office but I roughly calculated the other day that it would cost £50 for me to send them and it cost £50.55
So pretty much the same

Going to try and have Friday off work to sort the house out a bit and will see if I can actually get some listings done then.
Me too Yorkielass -I spent most of the weekend in the garden as the weather was good. Managed to achieve quite a lot with DH's help so I'm not going to beat myself up about it. My plan is now to photograph everything I want toEbay & do the descriptions so I'll be good & ready for the next free listing:D
(thats the plan anyway.....:o)
Well done to all who managed to get things listed this weekend & fingers crossed for lots of lovely bidders for you :jSmall victories - sometimes they are all you can hope for but sometimes they are all you need - be kinder than necessary, for everyone you meet is fighting some kind of battle0 -

Tonight they have listed 20 new items of Next clothing as Auctions and has saved about £6+ in fees that they would have had to pay if they were a Business Seller, funny thing is though she was trading under another name after Xmas until about 2 weeks ago so maybe got caught out so has started listing under another Private ID.
It makes sense to do it to those listing lots but I've only got a few items on and they are clearly not business listings so eBay should have a better way of doing things than this. Stupidly it said my restriction was on high end items and designer goods - I was listing a River Island top! Idiots.
eBay seem to have forgotten it was sellers like us who made them the company they are today - now all they seem to care about are the big companies selling new things
Grr - frustrating. Its very rare that I am in the mood for listing and I'm on a roll just now and can't put anymore of my clothes on now, well one more, but I have at least half a dozen I want to get onNot been here in years! Hi everyone. Make £10 a day challenge = £78.45/1550 -

My items were Next second hand and a couple new that were never used. This seller has 36 auction listings (done yesterday for free) and another 100 BIN's that are all brand new Next items. I did list a couple of items on my other Private Ebay ID so might use that one next time.Sealed Pot Challenge #0160 -
Just updated all my postage prices. Phew. That took aaages!0

:j I have a bid on my £20 item already (5th relist). I'm glad I didn't lower the price... just made a slight change to the title of the listing and obviously it's done the trick.0

For those of you who have restrictions placed on your account, have you tried emailing eBay? I've listed a lot of clothes since the beginning of the year, and a couple of weeks ago eBay put a restriction on my account saying I had to wait 30 days to sell anything else in that category. Everything I have sold has been second hand (my old things), with a couple being BNWT that I had bought and never wore etc. I emailed eBay asking them to review the restrictions, and within 24 hours they emailed me back saying they had lifted the restriction on my account and I was free to list what I wanted again! (I said I have been an eBay member for many years, am just trying to earn a few extra pennies with my old clothes and that they're all selling for hardly anything anyway, and they're blatantly not designer/high-end items).
So I'd say it's definitely worth emailing them to see if they will reconsider their decision. Good luck!
