Got a bit despondent, tried to relist a new Next item and got a message saying only allowed so many items in Clothes, Shoes, Accessories and about having 1 listing left and then something about thinking about being a Business so I stopped listing, the only stuff I list on my Private account is stuff that I've bought for the kids but never used. I find it annoying though as there is one seller who has 118 brand new Next items listed and is not a Business Seller so how can they get away with it, I have only listed a couple of new items in the Clothes, Shoes, Accessories category no more than 10 though so how come I get this message and this other seller is allowed to list lots of brand new items and is obviously a Business.

So I've stopped listing now.

I got the same message tonight TMD - just one listing left it that category too. I've only listed about 4 items of high street clothing from my wardrobe and I still have another 6 or so dresses and a pair of shoes I want to put on

Its a bl00dy joke to be honest as we're making them money. I also stopped at that point

It is annoying though when some Private sellers are obviously Businesses and are getting away with listing over 100 items, the seller I've seen sometimes has up to 10 of the same item in the same size in one listing. Tonight they have listed 20 new items of Next clothing as Auctions and has saved about £6+ in fees that they would have had to pay if they were a Business Seller, funny thing is though she was trading under another name after Xmas until about 2 weeks ago so maybe got caught out so has started listing under another Private ID.

Ahhh finally finished listing. 186 items Productive weekend (even if I did spend half of my birthday adding things to ebay lol!)

Happy Belated Birthday!

186 items is great, I gave up after getting that message from Ebay about having one more listing in the clothing category, I did have some more new toys that I wanted to get listed but didn't want to risk it as they are new (bought too much at Xmas and need to make some cash back). I think I will just list anything new under my Business account even if it is things I didn't buy to sell on, I won't make a profit on the items just want rid of them.

Hope everyone else got lots listed as it was rather quiet here yesterday. I got 22 listings done and about 8 were relists from last time.

AFM I relisted 11 things and added another 7. Not great but it's something. Also put up 4 pieces of furniture on Gumtree so hopefully that will bring in some cash.

I failed completely, spent almost all the weekend doing stuff for the music group I'm involved with and so nothing listed at all. My one thing I relisted last week, it's 3rd trip on ebay, has a bidder now. It's the sort of thing I'm happy someone wants and will use, a craft kit, and so I'm pleased it's going even if I get no more bidders.

Going to try and have Friday off work to sort the house out a bit and will see if I can actually get some listings done then.

Drat, missed the free listing weekend. I had a good excuse though, birthday was saturday and spent most of Sunday either asleep or with my mum.

Ho strange about the message saying you can only have so many things listed in a category.
I listed about 80 things over the weekend, and 85% of those were clothes, and I've sold lots of clothes on Ebay very recently!?! How strange
