Missed last weekend's free listings so I'll sort out & photograph some odds that I've got so I'll be ready for the next one.
I've got a lot of clothes that are 'good makes' but I've not tried selling clothing before. What's the best way to photograph them? On a hanger or on a body!

I use a mannequin and if not that my second choice is flat on the floor. I don't tend to bid on items that are being worn in photos, I think its nicer without so a hanger may be best
Not been here in years! Hi everyone. Make £10 a day challenge = £78.45/155

29 items ending tonight... only 4 with bids on them. Hopefully there'll be some last minute bidders.

Also sold one of my B.I.N items, so will get that posted tomorrow (once I find something to package it in!)

well 5 out of my 15 items ended last night. After ebay fees it works out at £50 profit (though thats not taking paypal fees into consideration) and £25 is cash on collection so quite chuffed with that. That takes me half way to getting my timing belt done

I've only got 2 items on at the moment but have £125 in my Paypal account . Have got some important paperwork to fill in but will be adding some new listings over the week and relisting others.

Am going to keep the money in Paypal for a couple of months; hopefully I can reach £500+

bear in mind PP isnt like a bank and isnt regulated the same way.
better to set up a basic bank account to hold your funds in,if you want it separate
I used a 2nd account ot offer bank transfers(no fees!) and then transferred monies fro that,to my main account

Congrats everyone on their March sales so far. I was too busy with work to put any real effort in and so just used the free listing weekend to relist 17 items. Sold 5 of them for a total profit of about £46.03 after fees so chuffed about that. (Still waiting on a payment for an additional item of about £7 so may be able to add that unless they do not pay like one last month - who stunningly still has their 100% rating - Grrr.)

Just been in the garage and there's a lot more to list for April....now just need the motivation ;)

Just wanted to remind anyone who buys on ebay ;) as well as sells there that they should sign up with TopCashBack or something similar. I've managed to get back over £77 in the last 3 years of buying on Ebay through that site. (You get up to 40% o the listing price paid). Certainly has helped with the fees I've had to pay for my listings.

    Cheers everyone,
    Happy Monday,

  • I have 3 items that sold yesterday that are all going to be cash on collection so will add them on then. Can I ask a question? a couple of people have asked me recently if I had a buy it now price for some of the items that were advertised on an auction? How can you change it to a BIN after you have started & can you only do this on items that haven't received any bids? Thanks
