Thanks katie07 - its worth a try so I will email them. If that doesn't work I have the personal email address of someone with a bit of clout in Customer Services at eBay because of my job so I might have to pull a favour ;)

A few of my items sold over the weekend did a lot better than I expected. The ones are now so slow - a couple have starting bids but nothing to shout about

    Hi
Just wondering how people find selling clothes on Ebay? Do you earnmuch from it or would you earn more at a boot sale?

I have been selling some of my clothes and do alright - its all high street stuff and I definately get more than I would at a car boot sale.

You get 12 photos for free in the clothing etc category so put lots of nice photos on showing front, back, details

Looking pretty slow for me with only 3 things with watchers. However, at least I have one £9.95 bid for something that I put up for the 3rd time :j.

Hope that by end of Saturday I'll get a few more sales :)

Is everyone enjoying the gorgeous weather?!!!

I routed through my loft last week (far too many black bags full of clothes) and found a wedding dress that I had somehow aquired over the years. It was a 1980's hideous thing

Listed it as vintage at £9.99 and within an hour had a bid. It sold for £27!!!

Not bad considering I ummed and aaahed over listing it and didn't even bother to iron it
  • i've just listed some gig tickets that i actually bought last year (gig not until july) because i now can't afford to go/ travel. and some arsenal fc memorabilia i had laying around *fingers crossed*
