I've just noticed in the last few hours that one Business seller on Ebay must have sold over 75+ items to the same person (have no idea exactly how many items in total as too many to check. They had 82 listings about 2 hours ago and are now down to 32, nearly all of the listings had more than one item, one or two had 10-15 items in the same listing, I've checked most of the ended items and they are sold to the same buyer, even some of the BIN auctions still running the buyer has bought one or two of the same items, the buyer is new and only has 5 feedback. I find it strange that a buyer would buy so many items the items are not cheap from £5.50 up to £15.99.

I hope for the sellers sake it is not someone dodgy. I just wish I could sell one Business item today let alone nearly 100.

    Strange!!

For those of you who run your own small businesses, would you recommend employing an accountant?
    QUOTE]

I only got an accountant last year as my turnover (not profit) went over the £8,000 mark and I thought I would have an extra pair of eyes on my acccounts to make sure that everything was being done ok, and luckily it was.

I am just someone who likes everything done correctly for the tax man/woman just in case they do a review.

The two years before that I just did self-assessment on my own because I sold a couple of hundred pounds a month.

I would love to be a slimming world leader I am starting there on Tuesday and in it for the long haul :o Is it worth doing financially ?? I know you have to put the hours in though.

I would love to join you all too.

I have sold a few things on ebay in the past but not listed anything for about 18 months. I have listed 2 things tonight after spending the day talking myself into it and it wasn't too bad. I also listed a CD on Amazon. I am going to go through my books tomorrow and see what I can list on Amazon and Green Metropolis.

I built my group up to a double session of 90+ members, a lot of the work goes on behind the scenes, i found promotion and supporting the members outside of group the most time consuming. I loved actually taking the group. Earnings are worked out depending on how many paying members you had through the doors i was typically on 50% which is the maximum. You can earn fantastic money, but like everything its not guarenteed. SW its self is a fab company to work for and they offer great supprt, and you can advance within the company quite quickly if you wanted to. When i signed up franchises cost £300 odd, when i left they cost £1500 odd, so you would need a fair bit to start up with now hth.
Good luck on your SW journey :)

Right. I listed those gold sovereigns I have..... not sure now; once I have paid fees etc. Actually more worried about scammers etc. Never mind; I always check out a buyer anyway (feedback and check their details against 192.com) so I am covered as good as I can be. Unless I get an email from someone claiming they are not real gold. But I do have my purchase receipt somewhere so I should be covered????? I'm worrying needlessly now!!
