I've sold loads of my stuff on Ebay and Amazon over the years, and I've only just noticed that on the Royal mail site, you can buy your postage online and print it out! Will certainly save a lot of the time I spend queueing and weighing in the post office!Debt at 1/1/11 £7,049.75, now £6,682.12 at 9/3/110

Can anyone give me any tips for selling clothes on ebay? I have a huuuuuge pile of them that don't fit anymore - some with brand names like Jane Norman, & some that aren't.
I've sold a fair amount of clothes in the past but have always found it a bit hit & miss, some would go for a decent amount & some would go for peanuts when I really thought they'd go for more...any tips greatly appreciated as I really want to get out of debt this year!:idea:Debt at July 2012: £12,862.57

Hi all. Do you mind if I join pleeeeeeease.
I used to use Ebay all the time but haven't for a good few months, my camera has recently broke so as soon as that is fixed/ I have bought a new one i will get listing. I intend to list 10 items every week until I run out of things to list!!
I would be intrested in opening up a shop but I am worried i would find it too complex does any one with a shop have any advise for me please? It's account keeping/tax/vat that worries me the most.
happy new year all xMake £10 a day, October 2023 - £105/£3100 -
Sold 2 items yesterday total made £22.00. I have to take out fees and hopefully the postage won't go over what I have asked for, so feeling good. Am enjoying this, but have already got the OCD thing. First thing I did this morning was log on (before even having a wee or a cup of tea!!!). Will have to force myself to stay off it today. Kids were ebay widows yesterday!! Bless them. However, I am thinking about the enormous amount of stuff in my garage stored ready for car boot sale weather. I might list everything and then whatever doesn't sell stick back in for last attempt car boot sales. That would take me hours but it really is fun. I'm back at work Tuesday, and have lots of preparation to do before then, so really need to do that instead of watching the watchers, it is soooo addictive though. I'll just have one more check before the ironing. xx0

I've checked my listed freezer , 1 bid and 9 watchers .0

I'm here again. I listed two items : miniskirt and Next dress, 99p and £7 respectively. I'll see how they'll go.0

of the 7 items listed the other night 1 has a watcher and another has a bid - not bad considering I nearly put it all in a charity bag!Life is what you make it.0
