Thanks everyone. I'm hoping to post some before and hopefully after pics on here. That should shame me into sorting out my bedroom.

I'm thinking of buying a big shelving unit that I found in the BHF furniture shop down the road from me. It is big with 6 long shelves (185cm long) and is 2m high. They have it on sale for £80 which I think is ok and my friend will help me take it home from the shop (assuming they've not sold it yet!) at least that will help me sort things out a bit better and I can get more things out of boxes and stored properly.

My budget of the month remaining is £271.

I spent £20.14 in Tesco on Saturday and took £20 out of my account which covered the cinema on Sunday (£10.50  London cinema is soooo blooming expensive - I was hoping to see more films this year as I love it but at that price )

And I've spent a bit on snacks and other odds and ends.

My graze box also came out at £2.99 so my remaining budget for this month is: £227.87

I have a date on Friday - can't decide if I'm :j or (insert own whateva emoticon) and I'll need to top up my oyster and also make sure I've got some cash to pay for drinks / food etc.

My friend's birthday party is Saturday and I'm making an embroidered paper picture thing and I need to finish this tomorrow so that it's ready on Saturday.

Her daughters birthday is the following weekend and I need to make something for her too....so I'm going to be busy busy.

Sunday I'm meeting an old friend and we're going to the V&A but that will be bargainous as I'm a member and so will be free. Although will need something for lunch as there is a pancake shop nearby. I dearly love their cafe, the rooms are stunning and the food is good but it is shockingly expensive.

Well I've a terrible headache as I've been really rubbish at drinking water today so I've had a huge glass now and I'm going to go to bed!
I've got my own flat :j:j

Now I have to pay the bills

And feed my interiors addiction ;)

However I subscribe to the SATC school of thought and therefore seeing as my lovelife has taken a dive, and my flat is great so I am therefore due a promotion or something at work...as you can only have two out of three!

Absolutely Souk, don't worry I was just moaning about one specific man! I'm not really that bothered about having a boyfriend but I met someone that I thought might fit the bill and then found out on our date that he didn't comply with one of my basic requirements for a boyfriend - ie. that he wasn't already someone else boyfriend......

If someone else crops up I'll go out and I might think about internet dating as well. I'm not great at getting over people quickly so I'll just have to mope about it and rant to my friends and then I'll be good!!! I'm seeing a great friend next Saturday for lunch (his treat, my Xmas pressie!) and so I can have a good !!!!!ing session and hash it all over and get it out of my system. And he's on a date tonight which appears to be going well so hopefully he can balance out my negativity with some positivity!!!

I've had such a spendy weekend and so I'll have to do the maths soon but I'm dreading it!!:eek:

I am beyond glad that January is over, it's been such a carp month for me on so many levels. Not on a disasterous, life changing level but plenty of minor disappointments and annoyances and things so I feel like I've lost my zip a bit so I'm going to work on getting it back in February!

I've got a haircut booked for tomorrow, my first in nearly 2 years! :o I got a voucher for a nice salon near Bond Street via the Groupon website. I've had the voucher for ages but they never had any appointments free.

I definitely need a pick me up and I think a fab new stylish cut will be answer!!!!!
