Hello makeup,
hope you're feeling better today ?
As far as the dating goes, I agree with Souk that PoF is fine for 'quickies', and Dan with regard to internet dating not being any help at all in determining real life chemistry.
Before I actually met him, I would have sworn that Mr. PoshTown was my ideal mate when I dabbled with PoF. His frank admission of being somewhat 'fragile' still didnt prepare me for the reality. Even if a person is completely honest in their profile, that doesnt take into account our own interpretation of what they say.
I do recommend meeting up with potential asap ( taking all safety precautions of course) so you can ascertain quickly whether to pursue or move on swiftly.
Good hunting

I have a date...woo...:j:j
Next Thursday...don't know much about him but I'm not going to waste my time with emails.....we'll see if the spark is there.
Quite agree Lula, hoping my date is less eventful than yours with Mr Poshtown, although you did get top marks for bizarre story afterwards (cold comfort I know...)
Bought an interiors mag today and one came through the post.
I signed up for a cheap trial of Ideal Home mag a while ago (£3 for 4 issues) but then it all kind of went complicated and now I'm not entirely clear what I've paid for or what's going on....still I got the mag so that is good for me!I've got my own flat :j:j
Now I have to pay the bills

Hey Little Boots
Thanks, more the merrier is always a good motto!
Yes, I sent my Dad some lemon curd. Then when I went to visit a couple of weeks ago I took a tangerine cake - I got the recipe off here actually and it was yum!
My parents are off on holiday soon and I meant to make something for him to take and forgot.
I'll do a double bubble for when he gets back!
I'm quite looking forward to the date :j Fingers crossed don't get stood up on the first one!
And yes, VL, all necessary precautions will be taken.....;)
I've had another one youthful one message me :j this time 24 years old!!! I shouldn't reply should I, should I? No that would be wrong (repeat til it actually sinks in!)
So glad Feb is nearly over, this year has started off in a rubbish way for me...nothing majorly bad just lots of annoying things....hopefully March will bring some improvements!!I've got my own flat :j:j
Now I have to pay the bills
