OK, so can reveal my top secret exciting news.
I've been given a promotion, it is a secondment but I don't mind, we're under lots of restructuring stuff at the moment right now.
I start on 28th March and it involves a pay rise (thank goodness, my bank will be happy!
)
I'm secretly terrified though, I've never managed a team (well except from when I was 23, a holiday rep and I got sacked
) and I think it will be hard.
On the positive side, the other manager is my old boss with whom I get on brilliantly.I've got my own flat :j:j
Now I have to pay the bills

Hi Ladies, thanks for the advice. Luckily I'm moving to a new office so won't be managing old colleagues as I could see how hard that could be. Although I shall miss them a lot.
I just can't imagining telling everyone what to do!!! Maybe I'll go powercrazy!!!! bwah ha ha
ps I've not commented on the 'hilarious' fireman jokes as I'm above that low level of humour and I've not been making jokes about firemans poles or anything at all, not one bit...:AI've got my own flat :j:j

I should probably add in some money earning news too.
I was on the reserve list as polling clerk for the referendum on AV in May and I've been asked to work at a polling station near me so that should get me around £200 - worth a using up a days leave for.
I've also been told I've got the census collector job as well for 4 weeks so that is good news too.
I intend to throw all this extra cash at my debts and get them cleared asap!I've got my own flat :j:j

So I did the census collector online training and now have to go to a classroom session and then discover they are all this week during the day :mad:
Apparently they are going to put weekend sessions on but I've got to keep checking them out til they go one....so annoyed considering I applied for the job in December and did everything required before Xmas and only found out that I'd got it a few days ago and the job starts on 6th April :eek: seem really disorganised.
I dyed my hair tonight with a free dye I got, nearly gassed myself on the ammonia fumes but like the end result.
I've got a real urge to go and see some dance, I love watching dance. Makes me feels so much better and calmer inside. And the Sadlers Wells have a multi buy deal with 20% off two or more shows.
Met my new boss and went to my new office so feeling more relaxed about this change.
(oh yeah fireman thing totally didn't work out, he was clearly messaging a ton of women at once and forgot who I was  so I went out with my friend instead and her friends who were out for a birthday, had a fab night on the rose wine, managed to fit in some dancing and ended up eating chinese at 1am :rotfl::T)I've got my own flat :j:j
Now I have to pay the bills
