Hey Rosa, welcome!
I'm so over internet dating now...one month later and I've had enough!
I did get a special offer from EHarmony though, 3 months for £30 which isn't too bad so if anyone fancies trying them worth setting up a profile and hanging on til they send you a special offer!I've got my own flat :j:j
Now I have to pay the bills

Well I'm off to do my bit today with the march against public sector cuts. Keep your eyes peeled on TV for me!!!!! :rotfl: My friend keeps texting me to 'keep safe' I think he has forgotten we don't live in Libya....
Late as usual but I'm sure we won't head off on time!
My census thing is all sorted out now and have to go off on training course for it on Tuesday. Looking forward to the cash and not for the work!
I finished in my old office on Friday, was sad to leave all my old colleagues but I've got over the fear and I'm now really excited to start my new job and looking forward to the challenge.
Right I need to get into my protest outfit and head off to the park to get splinters from a dodgy banner.I've got my own flat :j:j

Happy protesting, I do love a march
Glad the internet dating didnt get you down, I've been lurking again, but the quality sit still very poor & now the weather is improving, I'll be too busy creating food & tending my 'estate' to worry, what will be will be ... all keen gardeners this way please :rotfl:0 -

Well first week over. Been really busy but in a good way. Loving the change and the challenge. Although slightly scared that next week I'm going to need to be tough and mention some carp things to people.
However had my first 121 with my new boss and now I can't wear jeans .....
Oh well I've had it my way for a while, at least I've a £10 new look voucher from those diet coke codes so that can go towards something smarter for work.
I've had a spendy day in one sense. I went to lunch with some friends, I found us a toptable deal but then with drinks it ended up costing lots more.....:o However my friend had a huge pile of books that she didn't want anymore having read them so that was great.
I also got a lovely body shop gift basket from body shop but they bought me coconut and I really don't like coconut so ungrateful person that I am, I took it back and swapped it for mango instead.
Got a friend over tonight for a DVD - same one that came before who is on some fish kick for lent so I'm doing a salmon dish out of my Levi Roots Carribean book and that should be good.
Was going to stay in tomorrow and be sensible but my friend has suggested we go to the cinema for the early cheap show so I'll be there instead!!!
Oh yes, more spendy news. I love love love Flowerbomb perfume and my flatmate bf works on a cruise ship and he bought me some with his work discount from the ship shop so that was another £30 spent but it is normally £50 - 60
Oh well, bring on the census money and the polling clerk money and my raise from my new job. Just as well I do well at work cos I am RUBBISH at budgets, saving and spending wisely....:o:oI've got my own flat :j:j
Now I have to pay the bills

I've been doing my first long shift of the census collecting and it is knackering. All that standing up, walking around (walking back and forth between blocks of flats because I didn't check what numbers the blocks went up to before going.....), hiking up to 4th floor flats with the lift out of order etc etc
Plus I think I've got sunburn.
Still I'm thiking of the money and it isn't too bad. At least the weather makes it worthwhile.
On a positive note, I finally managed to get to Tatco with my shopping trolley so I could take advantage of their buy 2 bottle of diet coke, get 2 free. :j
Right - to bed, so ready for it as well!I've got my own flat :j:j
