Are you absolutely certain your council will charge you to collect and dispose of the mattress? Many councils allow 1 or 2 free bit items collections a year. Your council website will have details.
.................:)....I'm smiling because I have no idea what's going on ...:)

Yes they charge for everything they collect around here. Have done for years and years. (I used to be married to a bin man!).:o:D

It was not a very comfortable matteress, it was a cheap one from BritishHeartFoundation in the first place. (Although new). I can feel all the springs in it, so I had to have a duvet cover under me as well as ontop of me!!

It's freecycle though - just be honest when you list it and it may still be better than someone who hasnt got a mattress at all.
yup, that's my feeling too: as an occasional mattress for a spare room it's better than nothing, or for someone who knows they want a memory foam topper anyway.

Ours charges, but you can leave up to 3 large items at a time, unless you're an OAP in which case I think it's free. It does vary widely.

    Morning.
I am struggling with terrible stomach pains. Went back to bed in the day, in the evening as soon as I could.
Like the new matteress, much firmer and better for my back. Lets hope we see some results helping my spine.
DGD has nursery this morning, so I have to get us both dressed and out the door in just over 30 minutes.! Eek. I have had my shower, but my hair is still wet, and DGD is still eating her toast.
I have a list of to do jobs that I think is getting longer then shorter! oops.
Thats the way my life is.
Twin2 rang me late evening last night, asking me to take her to her LAC review today for 2pm. But I do not feel well enough. I asked her if she had the bus fair, and she said that she did, so I said that she will have to work out the bus then, and walk the difference. ITs about half a mile bit more maybe from the nearest bus stop to the place. (it really is quite secluded, but in this time of the year I am sure she will be all right!).
So thats the second NO to her, in two days.
DS is supposed to be going back to college today to see his tutor. Still stopping at the twins. So I dont know if he has gone or not.
Time to move it, or we will be late.

I am still hanging on in there. Not as productive as I would have liked to be, and so many jobs have remained on my to do list. And decluttering seems to have taken yet another back step.!
I ended up having a browse in the Charity shops after I had been to the post office. I bought a large pink dotty teapot for the garden. It now has a plant, some pansies that were in a hanging basket from the cottage, and is sitting by the front door!.
I also bought some odd bits of clothing for DGD and a jumper for me.
Then I bought some fabric that was lurking amongst the curtains. Its white with unequal grey stripes. I think it will be perfect in some bags.

Becuase that took it out of me, I found it difficult to do much, so spent the rest of the morning, returning calls, and talking to Business link!.
There is so much to think about.
I also rang ESA and asked what permitted work would be allowed, and what I can earn. I believe it used to be £93 a week, and up to one year, but of course so much has changed this last few months so I want to make sure that I am legal. THe last think I want to do is loose this income as well!
We would be in a real mess then, as I doubt I will make the £94 ESA up in selling bags every week! I would need to be doing a production line, as it would need to be the profit from making.
I also have plenty of information about being a sole trader, setting up online businesses and websites etc so much so that my brain is in overdrive.
But I will start working out the pros and cons etc and hopefully after the easter holidays I can get my act together and get going.
I have reinstated my Mooloo on etsy, but not with any stock, as I dont have any. Another job., I will need enough stock to set up a shop again.
I will also have to change my ebay account from private one to a business one.
So much to think about, just to makesure that I do not break any rules with my income.
I also have to ask the housing association if they mind if I run a business from home.
I also have to update the quote for Insurance. Public liability etc etc I was quoted around £135 last year. So we will see how it has changed this year.
Apparantly as a sole trader i do not need to have a Business account, (but its advised to keep all records etc seperately). But there is no legal requirement.
So there are so many things to think about.
Anyway, I have lots on my mind to stop me worrying about the family and thier ancticts.
I havent heard from anyone since I reminded twin2 that I couldnt help her to go to her LAC review. It would have been just too much driving and hanging around.
I did try to do a bit of hoeing in the front garden, but it was too Hot!!! lovely,. I was not dressed suitably and after 10 minutes my arm reminded me that it didnt like moving in a repetative way, or going up very high!. So I gave in.
Came back to the computer for a bit, then turned it off and started to tidy away some of the materials etc on my desk. Problem with that is I get sidetracked with some of the bits and bobs and play around with them.!
This evening, i will be reading through even more of the literature. While continuing feeding the washing machine, so that we are up todate before we go on holiday. Wouldnt it be lovely if we had this kind of weather next week.! My holiday would be made!.
When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.

Crikey Mooloo, you have given your self lots to think about :D

When talking to the landlord about running a business from home I would make sure you mention that it is a small mail order business in case they think you will have a stream of people coming to your door.

I am full of cold and thought it was just me that was hot, didn't even realise how gorgeous the weather was until about 4pm :(

Oh dear! Thats a pity. If you could have been out in the sunshine it would have helped with the Seratonin, and thats the Happy pill of life isnt it? Sunshine cures a lot of things!. (Except my aches and pains- although having said that it does make a huge difference to the bones!). So perhaps it dos help me afterall. :rotfl:

DGD woke me up earlier then of late, and wanted to know why the dummy fairy had taken her dummy.! Stupid me, I found it for her without thinking. I was still half asleep! Derr. I have been trying to get her to ditch the dam thing for weeks!. (OK, I know not hard enough!.I must try harder!).
I did read more of the literature but as it was on line, (asked to think of theplanet before printingoff the information, by businesslink,), that laptop froze! So I was forced to stop.
It will need some more TLC me thinks!:):(
I am at the doctors this morning. Have to see about why my stomach feels like its on fire, and afew other not so good symptoms.(dont think I spelt that right).

I had a good go at the washing, so it will go out on the line as soon as I get dressed. Only a small amount of odds and ends left now. Till tomorrow no doubt.
Looks like BF has other plans that do not include me this weekend, so I have a bit more time at home to pack etc then first thought.
We also dont leave until about midday monday, so no early morning rush! Brilliant.:T

Just to let you know that Moo is off-line again as her computer is playing up again. Hopefully mended by tomorrow xx
I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
When the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.
