Biggest really is her Mother's daughter, looking out for the rest of the family. :T Her little one sounds lovely
Such a lucky baby to have parents, Grand Parents and Great Grand Parents too
Sounds like an awful trip to the solicitor with a good outcome though. No wonder you are in pain
All I can remember from Finding Nemo is the seagull's - Mine, mine, mine. I think of it every time I hear them.
I hope you are sleeping well by now and have a better night.:j Proud Member of Mike's Mob :j0 -

My 18 year old eldest son still loves Finding Nemo!
Mind you, he also still likes Thomas Tank Engine and wants the advent calendar......We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.0 -

Nowt wrong with that, I'd be delighted if the OH bought me an advent calendar.
Good enough is good enough, and I am more than good enough!:j
If all else fails, remember, keep calm and hug a spaniel!0 -

My BF always buys his kids joke Advent Calenders, one of them had ben 10 last year I think it was, cannot remember the others but they were definitely aimed at the younger market. (His kids are either left home or at Uni!!).When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0 -

Hello Surfbabe, hope your doing OK.
Not sure I do an amazing job. I just have to buckle up and carry on.!
Thats sometimes easier said then done of course.
I do feel some great relief that I have finally signed the application for the court. After a year of non action its a start.
Molly and I are off to the Craft Course tomorrow, so I need to be well, as does she!. I also need to sort out my clothes and dGD's too, as she is going to her Grandad, whether Social Workers like it or not.
If they havent managed to do my CRB check, as they lost it, then tough on them, it would take them years to sort out his! Useless comes to mind!.When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0 -
Oh EEK.!
I have had a letter from the housing saying that I am £285. in arrears! I am not sure what I have done there? Must have missed a payment that I had planned to pay. It also means that I have paid over £150 thats all that I have left in my account. (I do not want to use the savings I have put away for DGD!). This, when the usual DD's and the food deliveries etc have gone through the account it will only leave me £17.76 in my account. I dont usually let my account go down below £300 before I worry. But having helped set Twin1 back up in her flat, I have let my eye off the ball, and now I am on the verge of a mess!
I really am so stupid. So much going on, and the rent is the first thing I should be on top of. My Housing Benefit has been reduced and reduced so often I really didnt realise that I was in arrears, I was in credit last I looked, and thought I had paid enough a fortnight ago. So my maths is all wrong.
I am worried now.
This weekend away will have to be my very last indulgence, and no more purchasing any fabrics etc until I have sold my bags.
After I have packed my suitcase for tomorrow, I will have to get the camera out and get my stuff re photographed and get it shown to sell it. What with Christmas etc.
I really do feel quite down and just as I was dealing with that, Twin1 came on the phone in tears complaining that Biggest of Mooloo was there and she was having a go at her, to get sorted out, and to clean up. So I had to tell her that she was actually lucky that people cared, and that we are worried that she hasnt done it, she has had 4 weeks to do it, if not more, and that it must be done before tomorrow. Her reply was that she actually had until Wednesday now, as thats when the woman is next in the office. But i told her, to just knuckle under and to take it on the chin and get the house finished and sorted.!
I am due to go over with the shopping I bought for them today. So it will also be a lecture that the money has run out and that they will have to make this food last for the next two weeks some how, and get thier budgets sorted out. If DS doesnt get off his proverbial and get signed on, then I really will go spare.
(I know, I know, you have all told me to let them got on with it, and I should have done, but its just not in my nature. I didnt want them to starve etc).
Luckily I will get my next money in on Monday, and then on Wednesday/thursday for the ESA fortnightly. I will have to hang on to every penny and make better judgement calls! When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0 -
Eeek to being in arrears  I know that you will get this sorted as soon as you can.
I know how difficult it is to see the family in trouble and how hard it is to get the twins to understand the importance of budgeting and thinking ahead but you cannot continue to subsidise them all on the meagre income you have.
:T To biggest trying to get twin1 organised. I said yesterday that she is her Mothers daughter and she continues to prove me right. Family is obviously as important to her as it is to you :T
Can you let me know what bags you currently have available or point me in the direction of where they are online? I may have a home for one in a Christmas Stocking!:j Proud Member of Mike's Mob :j0 -
Mooloo, is there a Food Bank near you or the girls? You'd need a referral, but these can come from a wide range of people. Just been listening to a piece about them on You and Yours (radio 4, find it on listen again ...)Signature removed for peace of mind0
