Hi everyone - please may I join. Have been such a hoarder as love going to car booties.
However I must do some myself and make a few pennies.

Have also joined the 'No buying toiletries' for 2011 and am determined to use up my stash there.

I also would love to be in a position where if anyone dropped by I could invite them in without stepping over the clutter. :o

So this is the year for serious sorting out and getting rid of STUFF I don't need.

Good luck to everyone and must do it this year :)
  • I've just done some clearing in the kitchen, sorted out the recycling & rubbish, and the path to the back door is now clearer & I can get to the cupboard on that side easier :j Rubbish & recycling now outside for collection tomorrow. (apparently the back door of your home is like the back door of your body :D)

Also have added a tray & a cafetiere to the charity bag :T

Well yesterday , I did the kitchen , it was a case of moving clutter and throwing shed loads of stuff, I still have the cupboards to do but OH noticed when he came in from work and stated " it looks like a show kitchen now" yeyness , I can get to the toaster without falling over toys . But I did too much and now have an insomnia , which is not being helped by a 38 week old bump. charity bags to the charity bin today , and must get OH to sort those boxes of DVDs. Hospital bag and DS overnight bag done , just need to make sure his childminders bag has all his bits in just in case next week.

  • Could I join please.J ust sent a bag of clothes, books and a lampsahd to the charity shop.
  • I seem to have lost my decluttering mojo :(

I have to start on the paperwork, everything else is done.

Life has suddenly caught up with me this week, and I am tired and have lots of stressful phone calls/meetings coming up.

My car is in for a service on Monday, so I need to take everything out of it, so that will be a little bit of decluttering. Plus I'll be staying in, so can start on the paperwork :T
Enjoying the power and freedom of letting things go.

I took a car bootfull of stuff to the loca charity shop. They really looked like they needed some fresh stuff so it feel good.

My mission of decluttering 50 things will focus in the lounge and the kitchen.

Thank you for reminding me to look for my car service book - I look forward to the day when I instantly know where things are :o
Have a little rest TheDD and you'll feel better. Try and take out the stress on your stuff. I have a chiminera and burn twigs or leaves together with half shredded paper (shredder is overworked...) - and I think that very theraputic :A
