Today I have decluttered all the recycling. I am almost at the end of the decorating of certain bits. I have started painting my sewing box tonight too so I am soon going to be able to put away my stuff
. I have an in of a large tin of paint and a tube of glue. They will be used soon.

I've been AWOL from decluttering as i've been mega busy but I have tried to do a little bit. Since midnight I have listed a load of stuff on ebay. The past few weeks i've thrown out piles of stuff ready for the move- less than 10 days now EEEK! and i'm pretty much set. I donated 2 boxes to my flatmate who is moving out this weekend so that has helped the pile go down as well as bake some bread and hummous which has decluttered some food before the move. It's all coming together rather nicely.
Good luck with the decluttering!0 -

Anyone else have this problem? Think I'll be telling him to go trainspotting more often:rotfl:
OMG, we must have the same OH lol, he's happy to spend all day Saturday (or as much as I'll let him have) on his laptop on his Blu-Ray forum (he does sell/swap a lot on there so it's not all bad) and at the moment he's listing some of his Blu-Ray collection on ebay.
What he spends his time doing I do not know, as it's not on MSE or doing any important work lol. I feel like you too, why should I do anything if he's not, but we usually manage to muddle through most things that need doing between usExtra savings aim for 2020 £4,000 £0/£4,000

Not much decluttering done apart from decluttering the ironing basket & some quince out of the freezer turned into jam that's now sitting in pots in the cupboard - really just moved it! I did put a few branded things on eBay that I thought were too good for the CS - fingers crossed. I really need to hit a load of filing but I'm afraid I dont seem to have much motivation - much nicer to see what everyones up to on here!Small victories - sometimes they are all you can hope for but sometimes they are all you need - be kinder than necessary, for everyone you meet is fighting some kind of battle0

I'e been doing some Free Stalls for Freegle; running them has been a really good kick starter for me as although other people bring stuff, I start it off so it's a good reason for me to get rid of 3-4 bags worth of stuff. :j£1600 overdraft

Did the N64 games sell well? We have some N64 games up in the loft, but they are a bit tatty and some are unboxed, might have to take a punt and stick them on

I've been surprised how well they have sold actually, they've gone for between £2 and £7.56, they are boxed and in very good condition, but I would say it's worth a try even without the boxes.
I got 185 items listed on ebay today, including some re-listed from last time, and more to put on tomorrow, it's a pity most of it belongs to my DS, lol. Took some old batteries in to work to put in recycling box, and OH took our recycling to the recycling centre.Weight loss challenge 2/10lbs

Further to Thursday's successes, on Friday I finished the kitchen (if you ignore the table that is:D) and also cleared the front half of the living room. OH didn't recognise the place when he got home! Saturday he was underfoot the whole day, but he went out again today, so I've reorganised the computer area (should be good for a giggle when he tries to find a pen:rotfl:) and persuaded the boys that it won't kill them if they have no railway set up in the living room - you can actually walk from the front to the back without breaking anything at the moment! Wish I thought it would last...0

I typed out a reply to this thread last night but the internet ate it
. Anyway, a summary of my decluttering efforts from the last few days...
Charity bag:
- 6 books
- 9 DVDs
- 5 Playstation games
- 5 CDs
- a scarf
- a duvet cover and four matching pillowcases
Green Metropolis:
- 4 books added
Bin/shred/recycle:
- pile of old train tickets (not mine)
- 3 catalogues
- pile of leaflets/adverts/junk that have come through the letterbox and not picked up/abandoned
Other:
- Ring binders tidied, and space made for four ring binders that were lying around
- Two quilts and a blanket folded and put away
- Bedlinen ironed, folded and put away properly so the lid of the bedlinen box is no longer permanently open
- sheep fleece washed and currently drying in the garage - once it's dry, it'll be put away in a bag with my other sheep's fleece at the top of a cupboard. The storage crate this one was in has been moved out of the living room, folded up and put away. I was heavily into hand spinning for a while (not so much at the moment) hence having fleeces.
- 31(!) charity collection bags collected from locations around the house. Not sure if I'll use these as binbags or just bin them so they're not cluttering.
- himself has been prodded into action and has sorted out his bank statements and put them away, sorted some of his magazines, binned/recycled random conference literature, and shredded ots of old letters and receipts.0
