Peeved that I can't put anything on eBay this week as we're going away & I wont have time if anything sells - never mind, should give me chance to get some photos done for the next free listing. Only other thing I've managed to declutter is all our receipts :rotfl:I did send off 3 Thank you cards to the relly's though. Just need to wade through the ironing bin as I think its getting taller than me :o Have a good weekend everyone!

Have done DS's bedroom. It was awful. Out: 1 bag to charity shop. 1 bag of recycling. 2 rubbish bags.
I have to do DD's bedroom tomorrow. That's awful too and we always argue when I do it because she won't let me throw away any carp :(

    Mortgage-free Glee!
Hope everyone had a good bank holiday(s). I have just brought myself up to date with the postings over the last two weeks, although I have been quiet, things have been happening.

    - large fishtank - not gone yet but I think I have found a prospective buyer
    - motorbike leathers - sold and money raised paid for motorbike overhaul ready for MOT!
    - More paper shredded - plenty more to go tho!
    - Move tools from conservatory into lean-to DONE
    - Carboot full of non-recyclable garden rubbish to tip
    - Put single bed base on freecycle GONE
    - Uncover the motorbike and see if it needs a clean up DONE - JUST NEED TO GET MOT'D NOW
    - Cleared out large cupboard in kitchen and took bootful of kitchenalia to charity shop (NOBODY needs three fondues!)
    - Loads of plants have gone to the allotment greenhouse/planted out so conservatory is pretty clear now
    - I sorted out holiday clothes and packed away winter woolies into vacuum bags.
    - Threw out loads of fertility vitamins, etc. I dread to think how much money was spent on them but they are out of date now.
    - Made my red white and blue ballgown for the party so at least I don't have a huge bag of fabric lying around!

Sadly nothing else sold, so I need to have a rethink about these items. I saw ebay was advertising free listings so I might give it a go.

So the ground floor was good for the red white and blue party but the upstairs still needs work!

    Sorry - I have to ask......what is a sunpipe?!!!!
As short_bird says, a sunpipe is a sort of roof window that allows sunlight into dark areas of the house (it reflects the light down so it cuts down on the amount of artificial light you might need in the room usually). Thanks for your encouragement :D

This week is going to be hellish, so my targets are:
    - try to sell fishtank (Please!)
    - Wash to freshen up some fabric nappies and freecyle
    - Take two quilts down to laundrette to clean
    - Finish server rebuild so I can shift the PC to the charity I help out
    - More paper shredding
    - Clear out cupboard and under bed storage in bedroom
    - Clear bricabrac from office and take to charity shop
    - Take old Christmas decs to the charity shop
    - Book motorbike in for MOT
    - Get shelving materials for craft room
    - Pack up suits into vacuum bags
    - Bin old plants in conservatory, repot any worth salvaging
    - Bin a load of old split seed trays from garden
    - Take bag of old tiles removed from bathroom to tip
    - Cut up logs in garden for wood pile

Mooloo - good to hear the craft room is coming along - that is my next challenge!

Callisto - I'm with you on the declutter front, your pictures look like my office and craft room!

The lady who comes once a week to hoover the bedrooms and stairs is off for two weeks so I want a big clear out so she notices the difference when she gets back!

I am loving the 200 things in 10 days challenge, so count me in as of today! Even though I am only just joining in, I will no doubt be able to catch up quickly!

Ooh my decluttering list is getting longer. I started thinking about the loft today!
:D Thanks to MSE, I am mortgage free!:D
  • I know it's only 2 items, but....
2 huge leather armchairs in the car ready to go to the tip as soon as they open! :T This now gives us room for the kids to play without us falling over them every time someone moves, and also space for me to sort out loads of boxes of carp (those wretched fish again!) when they stop playing and watch tv! We only sat in the things at Xmas, can't think why I kept them so long :o
