Thanks for suggesting a mini-challenge. Didn't think I would have enough time to declutter this weekend but when I saw the idea for a mini-challenge I thought "why not?". So

    1-6 - videos
    7 - video recorder
    8+ 9 - Xmas Card Holders
    10. Novelty gift - new
    11. Candle stick
    12. wind-up penguins
    13. Xmas wreath
    14. Book
    15. stamp set
    16. Bracelet
    17. Decorative box
    18. Old Fileofax

I've also listed quite a few things on Ebay - mostly for a friend - only a couple for me.

    IN
    Gym top - CS
Flowers from DS for Mother's Day (Unfortunately he forgot that I am allergic so they had to go outside in garden once he went to Dad's):(

Finally ordered the wardrobe & garden storage.

    Have a good week all.

Today I took DS's lamp back to him, (it's been in the spare room since New Year's day when he asked OH to fix it for him) got another 34 items listed on ebay, took 2 bras which were too tight back to shop, got a bag ready for CS collection tomorrow, containing at least 20 items, and put 2 other unused bags from the same charity into the bag.

MIL decided not to go and look at the bungalow, as she didn't feel like it after visiting her daughter, and she didn't come round after all so I got away with it, but we went to visit her and she said she would like to come and visit us soon, so now I have to get things sorted, especially as my niece also still wants to come to visit!

Have started the great declutter in the bedroom....

    I have:
Got a storage unit for my toiletries and tidied up my chest of drawers top with stuff I use/doesn't fit
Cleared out a whole plastic box of junk and lots of bags I don't use from under the bed
Sorted books to take to the charity shop.

    This week's tasks:
Sort through clothes and find ones I don't want/need - put them in the clothing bank at the end of the road - they go to charity so it's good
Sort out shoes in bottom of wardrobe
    ** Total debt: £6950.82 ± May NSDs 1/10 **
    ** Fat Bum Shrinking: -7/56lbs **
    **SPC 2012 #1498 -£152 and 1499 ***
I do it all because I'm scared.

A very long time ago, I did pop in, and aimed to declutter.! Ha. I am worse.
My Mum and Dad seem to be on a mission to declutter thier house, and every time I visit, which is several times a week, I am coming home with even more stuff! Then yesterday my eldest daughter, who has just moved home came over with a bag of things for the granddaughter that lives with me.
I took one look around me and realised that I have failed dismally!
So I am going to try to go back to your beginning and get some inspiration to start all over again! It may take me quite some time though, as I am off on holiday for a week next week! So will need to pack too. (But while looking for the stuff to pack, perhaps a charity bag could be filled at least!).
    Gulp where do I start?
Deep breathe, and another cup of tea! Then perhaps a list.
When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.

mooloo i am right there where you are hun, my house resembles a jumble sale, i think its safe to say we willnever be minimilistic. im working on it tho, the trouble i have is parting with stuff. i just seem to want to keep it because its shiny/cute/may be needed one day.
