DH has completely cleared the patio today, it looks fab :). He's shifted our old rubbish bins towards the front of the house but can't bring them any further at the moment because they're half full of water and the drains are still blocked. The wheely bin is still at the front too because we can't get it past the other bins. None of the bins can get past me as I'm at the front end of the path rodding the drain (well, clearly I'm not anymore, I've given up for a bit, I'm exhausted. I need the loo but can't go. I think that having had the [STRIKE]experience[/STRIKE] pleasure of emptying out a 2/3s full 5 foot deep soil stack with a bucket  has made my brain think, you aren't going until that drain's clear :rotfl:.
He has taken a load of rubbish to the tip today, his car was chocca block. He's also taken the rest of the quartz stones down to his Mums house.
It's lovely because when I've managed to clear the chuffing drain, I'll be able to empty the bin down it. I can then take the bins to my MiL's allotment so that she doesn't have to walk so far to get her water.

    Here we go again...

12 Slightly smaller amount from under lounge coffee table.
    13. Four mugs given to friend who also took...
    14. About eight books that I was going to take to CS.
15 Old newspapers and magazines from multiple locations - recycled.
    16. Three doorstep collection bags from spurious "charities" - used for recycling.

Thanks for that, if the brick cid doesn't clear it, the water board are going to have to come and do it because they'll have to lift the cover in the road to get to it. The blockage is past my drains nd into the main sewer. I'm quite experienced at clearing drains (lucky me heh :rotfl:) as we have a house that ws built in 1905 and they do need sorting regularly. I clear from the house regularly too and all drainage bits are gone through with vinegar to keep them clear. The waste that's in there isn't mine- I pulled out a fudge wrapper last night and my guys haven't had a fudge for years, they don't like them! I don't use wipes either so they aren't mine.
If I call out a company to do this, they'll charge me and as I've already spent £20 (rods and chemicals), I'm not spending any more. They'll only do what I've done and then hit the blockage which needs to be cleared from the other side now. If only the blockage was between my back hole and my front. I could get the hose down the front and clear it away. Humph.

Morning all, Rain here, so definitely no temptation to go shopping on the trike. Hope your morning is brighter.
    Carrying on from yesterday...
(Eve Pollard has literally just said on Radio 2 "You know how you have a lot of clutter in your house that you feel you must clear up...?" Talking about the Queen Mum's record collection. :D )
    17. Broken coffee machine to leccy equipment recycle.
    18. Hotel shampoo bottle used up and to bin
    19. Cream hair conditioner used up- tube already cut up - cap and remains of tube to bin.
    20. Bathroom bin emptied.
    21. Bedroom bin emptied.
    22. Huge bag of scrap and gibble from home office to recycling/bin.
    23. Office bin emptied too.
    24. Kitchen bin emptied.
    25. Evening bag put aside for friend's car boot sale.
    26. Review Notes from live music club messaged to friend to put on FB, originals put in bin.
Almost there with 30, wonder how far I can go?!
