DD2 was at home again today, although better than yesterday she wasn't well enough for school. The DD's and I ventured into the playroom this afternoon and we managed to clear a large space on the floor :) Sorted through the bookcase and some of the other bits.

    OUT:
6 kids books (pending - carboot or CS)
Couple of small toys (pending - carboot or CS)
Soft animal skittles (pending - carboot or CS)

DD1 and I also had a quick go over the piles in my room and we relocated some clothes, packed some of DD1's clothes up to go in the loft to save for DD2, found a few bits of mine for ebay, and hung up my clean clothes.

    OUT:
    Empty tissue box (recycling)
Bits of rubbish (again, not sure where they came from lol) (bin)

    IN:
Post/junk mail - recycled and bank statement filed away :)

DD2 should be back to school tomorrow so I might head back in to the playroom again and see what else I can declutter!

Hi everyone! I think I really need to join this thread! I came home from uni almost 3 years ago and the boxes are still piled up in the living room and study (concealed behind sofas and under desks!) Obviously I haven't touched any of it for that amount of time so I don't need any of it. Also I'm hoping to move in with the other half towards the end of the year so de-cluttering would make moving a lot easier for me! Any tips I need for getting rid of useless things in my life?

    Hi All,
not done much decluttering in the last couple of days, been stressing about seing a specialists about an on going problem, but good news there is some hope that things can be improved, fingers crossed.
Only decluttering i managed was selling some old bits of gold (more bits that i had inherited but either didnt like, had no memories attached or was broken) made £52 really happy, but not sure what to spent it on, moneysaving wise should put it towards paying off DH overdraught (but would rather have something to remember mum by and overdraught is the only debt we have except the morgage)
