Look at my decluttered dining room! Nearly finished now
http://www.facebook.com/album.php?aid=276089&id=576079456&l=0f6012836f I'll get back into the getting rid of stuff in the next few days hopefully.
I dropped off a black bag of stuff to the charity shop.
Came away with 2 books, oooppsssey! One is a history one that OH will love too - piccies of Bertie (king's speech). It's like a ye old Hello magazine!
Listed some bits of freecycle. Notice our local group was getting a bit quiet so thought it would be good to try and encourage others to do the same.

Hi All
not posted in a while been busy with work and then on holiday with the family. Still decluttering and seem to have passed the bug on to a few friends and family members.
Kaz the pics are great:A, fingers crossed my front room will look that good soon too.
At present i have another 7 carrier bags to go to the cs, eventually got round to doing the kitchen cupboards (no one else to blame for the crap in them but me, so many useless "time-saving gadets" gone, must have spent hundreds of pounds on them over the years!! oh well lesson learnt)
Had arranged a tip trip for next week but have had to cancel due to work, so the computer desk will have to stay another week, but on with the decluttering, starting to see the improvement:D0 -
I've been watching a few of those Making Space programmes, I've decided I have seen them before - I think the lady is a bit patronising but I do like them, the life laundry was better though.
A few ins here this week.
3 DVDS and a book and a few more on their way - but they were careful purchases and we've been really good money wise this month.
OH bought some stuff for his new train layout yesterday too, he didn't like the other one he was part way through building and so dismantled it 3 months ago when we thought we might be moving, no interest on house and so I've suggested he starts another one - but he's going to build it in such a way that he can take it apart and store more easily.
Some outs:
12 Cosmetic things to the Give and Make up appeal and a shoe box to put them in!
4 ebay sales posted.
Got my cheque from Music Magpie so will be paying that in tomorrow!
Going to do some ebaying later after having a break from listing last weekend, so nothing to post out tomorrow but one NPB I need to deal with.
Finally feeling better thanks to antibiotics and fingers crossed this is me better for a while now - 5 weeks of colds and coughs have knocked it out of me, will be very glad when February is gone.Initial Mortgage January 2024 - £160,000

I've got rid of some stuff via Freecycle - always handy for getting rid of "odd" stuff.
Off to put some washing on and have a nap, aaah who cares!Declutter 300 things in December challenge, 9/300. Clear the living room. Re-organize storage

Decided to 'declutter' my PC last night! The programme took so long while I was waiting I sorted out the pile of paperwork in my 'in tray' (should be 'all tray') now all neat & tidy & PC running a lot more smoothly & quickly - off to declutter the veg box for dinner tonight!Small victories - sometimes they are all you can hope for but sometimes they are all you need - be kinder than necessary, for everyone you meet is fighting some kind of battle0
