3 ebay items sold and another one with 9 bids and 20 watchers!
And another Amazon CD. I am barely going to make any money on the e-baying, but I have not sold before so the seller feedback will be invaluable.0 -
have persuaded kids (18 and 13!) to part with videos that they havent watched for years, need to take to charity shop if they still take them. Have taken a box full of stuff this morning and took three bags of books to mil for car boot. Hubby still clearing out the library whilst buying even more books. Just have to convince him to stop buying comics now!!Grocery Challenge Feb 16 £346 /4000

I once worked in events and fund 20 copies of MPeoples greatest hits in the stationery cupboard (they had been used in a goody bag) I was told to bin them so sold the entire lot on amazon!0 -

Been slow with de-cluttering and everything else recently but have de-cluttered the following:
Pair of shoes sent off to ebay buyer
TV stand given to oh's brother
2 shelves given to my sister
LOADS of bits of junk recycled/binned
I've also found homes for lots of random bit of needed clutter so although it doesn't sound like I've done alot the house is actually much clearer and the living room floor is almost completely clear!
Have to move everything out of the porch later as it's getting replaced tomorrow so this means I'll finally sort through the big box of random stuff in the porch. No sign of bead. Resigned myself to the fact that it's gone forever. Lets hope I don't get bad karma for being thoughtless and hasty, rather good karma for donating such a beautiful item.
Sorry to hear it hasn't turned up yetHave you tried getting in touch with the charity shop to explain and see if they still have it? You never know, you could be lucky and they might not have put it out yet

Thanks so much for saying this. You've managed to put into words what I feel, but wasn't really aware of,if that makes sense.
I think it might help me declutter other items that I find hard to let go of.0 -

I can only hope that the person who found it knows what it is and at least gets the true value for it.
It'll never find its way back to me and if it is in this house, I doubt it will be found until the kids are clearing after we're dead and buried(hopefully a little while away, I'm only 32:eek:).
Although saying that, many many years ago, my sister and I both got those coloured Leclic cameras for Christmas. Mine was purple and grey. My Aunty took us on a day trip to London and we were on the top deck of a bus. As we were rushing to get off, the battery cover flicked off and under a seat. I rushed to get it but couldn't find it and my Aunty dragged me off the bus. I was really upset (about the same as I feel about this bead) as it was something special of mine and I had nobody else to blame for something I treasured getting lost (well, you know what I mean). Later on in the day, we got another bus in a very different part of the city (we'd been on the tube and walked miles). After sitting there daydreaming and looking at the sights we got stuck in traffic. Gazing down at the floor I thought it looked familiar. "This is the bus!" I exclaimed and rushed to the back to start looking under seats. "For heavens sake Kaz, come and sit down. It's not the same bus, do you have any idea how many red busses there are in London? We're miles away from the other one" Said my Aunty. At which point I triumphantly emerged (a trifle grubby I'll admit) from under a seat with the battery cover for my camera :T. I was well chuffed.
So who knows?
Today, I have painted one wall of the dining room with the base coat(s) and have painted the downstairs loo.
Tomorrow I need to finish the downstairs loo and do at least the base coat of colour on the painted wall. I'll get started early so I can take the kids somewhere in the afternoon. They went out with Grandma today so I was able to crack on. Don't want to do too much during the day because it'll be nice to catch up with them. They're funny little things and make me laugh.Debt: 16/04/2007:TOTAL DEBT [strike]£92727.75[/strike] £49395.47:eek:   £43332.28 repaid 100.77% of £43000 target.MFiT T2: Debt [STRIKE]£52856.59[/STRIKE] £6316.14 £46540.45 repaid 101.17% of £46000 target.2013 Target: completely clear my [STRIKE]£6316.14[/STRIKE] £0 mortgage debt. £6316.14 100% repaid.0
