Hello
back to join in, we are on the major de clutter, yesterday we did the kitchen, (i de cluttered 3 carrier bags full!) we've also done H's wardrobe Over a bag full for charity collection i did mine a few months back but need to do it again!
Today we have began tackling the back room,
We've done 2 bookcases got a HUGE box of books to try and sell and got rid of a bin bag full of rubbish that was lurking there, old receipts, bits of notes etc etc.
My question is, has anyone used green metropolis and is it any good? i see you don't get much for your books as u have to pay postage etc but is it a quick turn around? As have them in a box for and make on average 90p per book i'm wondering if it's worth just taking them charity shop?
However when i think we have around 60 or more books to get rid of then it's £60ish which would be nice? Just worried it takes forever?
Any suggestions?
Many thankswas Proud to be dealing with debt! LBM 12.09.09 [STRIKE]£23,157.76,[/STRIKE] 28/03/11 £12.827.07:eek: Not quite sure on debts now as kind of gone by the wayside but back on form now! Will edit as i figure them out

LOL - we currently have a bunny living in the bathroom (his cage wont fit anywhere else!!! The other two share a cage in the dining room.
Sadly I wont be rehoming them to the garden as there's been a few thefts and we'd be devastated to find them gone!
I do need to sort out their stuff though! :eek:XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX:wave:XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX0 -
Sunny day here so did some de-cluttering in the garden. Old woody Rosemary went out & in its place lovely climbing rose that I did from a cutting (been trying for nigh on 20 years for this! Its a lovely old bourbon rose with the most incredible perfume & my next door neighbour does nothing with it & its crying out for some tlc - grrrrr!:() Sorted out & tidied some pots c***py ones going to the tip.
I've also had an email to say someone's interested in my table top oven - whoopee - hopefully that will go this weekend.
Just loaded the programme onto my PC so I can copy all the Video's to DVD - hmmm not too sure about this but I'll give it a go - if its raining tomorrow I'll have a play with it!Small victories - sometimes they are all you can hope for but sometimes they are all you need - be kinder than necessary, for everyone you meet is fighting some kind of battle0 -
Hello,
How awful that your rabbits aren't safe in the garden - rabbit rustlers at work! I have my neighbours 2 cats living in my old rabbit hutch cos she has de cluttered them from her house  grrr.
I have been poorly off work but soon get bored at home so cleaned the fridge and tidied up the 'hmmm don't know what to do with this' area - athough admittedly some of that pile has just moved to another 'hmm' area. Have got a few old mobile phones - must find somewhere worthwhile to give them to.
Pulled out the water filter and 6 filters that I have been meaning to start using for ever and must get that on the go or give up and chuck it. Does anyone know how many times you are supposed to run through a new filter before you can drink it?
Happpy decluttering and ebaying - all this talk of ebay made me go and have a browse around it! No purchases though!:rotfl:Less stuff, more life, love, laughter and cats!
Even if I'm on the shopping threads, it doesn't mean I'm buying! Sometimes it's good to just look and then hit the CLOSE button!0 -

I got my lovely new pandora bracelet last night. It seems that I might have made a f*** up with my decluttering and decluttered the charm that MiL got me for Christmas instead of a monstrous necklace which I was given too. Both were in blue jewellery boxes and I've found the horrid necklace but can't find the charm. I was getting a sweat on about it as I was on my way to work and DH said don't worry, we'll find it at the weekend. I really hope we do. I'll be gutted if I've got rid of it by accident. It was very pretty (and expensive) and in my efforts to have a nicer home I may have deprived myself of something lovelyDebt: 16/04/2007:TOTAL DEBT [strike]£92727.75[/strike] £49395.47:eek:   £43332.28 repaid 100.77% of £43000 target.MFiT T2: Debt [STRIKE]£52856.59[/STRIKE] £6316.14 £46540.45 repaid 101.17% of £46000 target.2013 Target: completely clear my [STRIKE]£6316.14[/STRIKE] £0 mortgage debt. £6316.14 100% repaid.0

Oh blast, Kaz, how horrible for you. Fingers crossed that DH is right. I'm sure we all have similar stories -it's on nowhere near the same scale, but my cleaner found some vouchers yesterday that I was convinced I'd binned accidentally. :j I'd rather not bring memories back of the precious things I HAVE binned.....Erma Bombeck, American writer: "If I had my life to live over again... I would have burned the pink candle, sculptured like a rose, that melted in storage." Don't keep things 'for best' - that day never comes. Use them and enjoy them now.0
