It seems that the Trustpilot reviews are being removed again. This is getting out of hand.
  • Yeah, I noticed that. I sent an email asking about it, also tweeted them :p I assume the .com and the .co.uk is run from the same place.

    Just had a look.

I doubt I would buy from a company that had dozens of reviews being investigated as this outfit have.
There are two types of people in the world: Those that can extrapolate information.
  • I note that my review, previously deleted and reinstated, has gone again.

This isn't reflecting terribly well on Trustpilot.

Sorry Trustpilot, I fully appreciate that you must have quite a bit to deal with on this issue, but the way you are being played does seem somewhat farcical.

When a reported review has been validated and reinstated, can the "report" button not be removed or disabled?

    Nope
I have just re-read my posts with Omar and I'm afraid I did rather jump up and down.
    Sorry Omar :)
I just get really aggravated when companies don't do what they promise.

    No problem
Poor Omar ;) But how anybody can be happy with a 2 month ( part ) delivery is beyond me ! :undecided

I'm far from happy with them, and have never said otherwise - they're a complete shambles. I quite simply stated that I received a large delivery from them on Friday, a shocking two months after the order was placed.

My intention was to allay the fears of those in a similar position, and to give them a little hope. It's a shame that people with poor attention to detail have chosen to throw it back in my face.

Still not received a refund yet from these cowboys. I did actually get a response though on the online `help' system.
Apparently they need my order number to be able to refund my money. So can't help me until they receive it !! I've given them my order number 9 times now on every message I've sent them.
I'm in the process of trying to do a charge back through my bank so hopefully that will do the trick.

    Here's the response I got:

`I am very sorry, but I am unable to locate your order with the details you have provided with your enquiry. Please could you complete the enquiry again making sure you include your order number in the appropriate field (not in the body of your enquiry) so we can trace your order.

Unfortunately with out these details I am unable to assist you any further.'

Surely, even if I put my order number in the body of my enquiry by mistake then they still have my order number.

    What a load of rubbish!!!

Has anyone considered contacting watchdog about The Online Homebrew Company ?
You can send your stories here:
    watchdog@bbc.co.uk

or use their online form here:
    http://www.bbc.co.uk/watchdog/gotastory/
  • It really is ridiculous. You can't even submit a question on their "help" section without submitting your order number, I think CLOWNS really should be on their homebrew dictionary.
  • Oh well Pete from Dagenham must have left a bad review on TP as they have now dropped to 8/10.

Facebook made me laugh. They must be desperate, what company would lower themselves to put up pictures of them receiving a delivery,at a guess I would say the first one this year.Shame I am banned from leaving a comment on there wall.

God I just cant get to grips with twitter.

Going to send TP another email as to why all posts are again removed.

They dont bother trying to remove the reviews for this compnay that they run:

http://www.trustpilot.co.uk/evaluate/www.the-online-basket-company.co.uk Dominic from London's review is shocking, shows that they also do the same for the basket compnay with putting orders back and no refunds since June 2011

Looks like Damon is still working hard at his Golf and mailing side of the shower making up reivews: http://www.trustpilot.co.uk/review/the-online-golf-company.co.ukhttp://www.trustpilot.co.uk/review/www.mrmailroom.co.uk
