OMAR I have read your post
I ordered "in stock" goods which they said would be shipped withind a couple of days.
they then said they were "in transit from the main warehouse"
every time the dispatch date was due they changed it to "in transit.....
Honouring orders ! surely that means what their website says ,dispatch from goods in stock within....
    They didn't
    They haven't
Which is why so many folk here have been so angered.
Please don't seek to justify such dreadful service.
If I had recieved an email which said we are experiencing difficulties at the moment ,please bear with us.
I would have been patient,Times are tough but this company treated all of us disgracefully :mad::mad:
Your attempts to defend them are at best odd
    at worst questionable.!

My attempts to defend them, are you having a laugh or something? To quote myself again so that it actually sinks in with you - "I'm not singing their praises, just making a factual report to show that they are still honouring their orders, albeit belatedly."

Maybe English isn't your first language.
  • I guess this is just a difference in what the phrase "honouring" orders means.

If it means you only got some of your stuff so far and that was two months later than expected and you are still waiting for three other things to come then yea, they are still honouring their orders.

About this "not intentionally dishonest" statement though, I can see that wording getting a few backs up.

A lot of people on here feel that they are intentionally dishonest, and your statement that you do not feel they are could look like defending them to some people. It is not difficult to see why some people think they are intentionally dishonest when the company has liquidated and rebooted itself in the past leaving customers without goods or money.

The company has also been very active in removing any negative reviews through threats of legal action. They also controlled who could and could not post a review on trustpilot. I can understand that people might feel they are intentionally dishonest because they have been actively trying to give a false impression of there customer satisfaction reports on trust pilot and forums.

Some people have found it very difficult to get the goods they have ordered in a reasonable time (ie less than 28 days) and yet were told that the goods were in stock at the time of ordering. I can see some people thinking that this is also intentionally dishonest.

Even though the company has been having obvious problems fulfilling orders within 28 days, they have been running sales everyday. These sales have often had a form of a count down, as soon as the count down reached zero a new offer virtually the same as the last one came out. This cycle of new offers virtually the same as the last with a count down rushing the buyer into buying stock that the company was not delivering to people that had purchased months before could also lead people to believe they were acting intentionally dishonest.

Many people have failed to get their money back from the company within ten days. Some people haven't had their money back in months, and a few people have not had there money back in over a year. I could understand these people feeling that the company is intentionally dishonest.

But hey, you got some of your goods, even though you had to wait two months, and they have told you that you might get the rest of your stuff soon too. So of course you feel they are not being intentionally dishonest.

You are certainly a very tolerent and understanding of this company, I however would suggest people shop at another homebrew company as that way they are a lot less likely to have the problems this one has.
  • if they sell on amazon, they should have a "contact seller" through their account.
    Has anyone tried this ?
  • With regard to the last Post, yes, I contacted them via Amazon and attached a copy of letters that I had previously sent by Recorded Delivery. Got my refund 2 days later but not sure whether it was due to the Amazon email or the recorded letters? I did in fact get an email reply from OHBC via Amazon offering an apology.

Would have thought it was worth a try...but would certainly recommend that you contact them by Recorded Delivery, and keep a copy of your records for when (or if) you contact your Bank for a Chargeback.

As with my last post, I would say to customers not to give up hope of not receiving a refund - unfortunately you just have to work very hard to achieve it.

As for Omar Little's comments, he is factually correct in that the evidence does point to the fact that they are still delivering orders(I got a part order delivered last week at the same time as my refund for what was undelivered) What we don't know is what percentage of orders are being fulfilled in accordance with customer expectations, and whether the readers or contributors to this thread are just the unfortunate minority? That said, have absolutely no intention of using this company again and would certainly not recommend them to anyone.
  • Just had a look at their shop front. Seems "Bigger Jugs" & "Baliihoo" use this shower to fulfil their orders !!!!

I've always had good service from Bigger Jugs.

Whereas I'm checking tomorrow if I need to go down the chargeback route with BIY
  • It's been stated already that BJ & Baliihoo has nothing to do with BIY.
  • Anyone had a refund yet ?
  • Good to see them taking a battering on Twitter :rotfl::T

Anyone had a refund yet ?
    Nope
I have just re-read my posts with Omar and I'm afraid I did rather jump up and down.
    Sorry Omar :)
I just get really aggravated when companies don't do what they promise.
  • Poor Omar ;) But how anybody can be happy with a 2 month ( part ) delivery is beyond me ! :undecided
