  • On Twitter yesterday they asked me to stop tweeting them and calling them crooks, contact us through the website !! lol I replied with a screen shot of my contact with them through their "customer support", needless to say, they didn't reply.

What a shocking way to treat people

Something needs to be done about this company :mad::mad:
  • Well, I got my refund yesterday, a full 45 days after I was told I'd get it and 66 days since my order was placed.

They are the worst company I've ever dealt with, on or offline.
  • Glad you got your money back and as you say they are the worst online compnay EVER!!! need shutting down.

I feel compelled by my experiences to contribute to this forum:
This is becoming ridiculous. I have been through the same as a lot of people. My order was delayed by several weeks and I was then asked to pay more money for delivery to the West coast of Scotland (Courier company has confirmed that they DO NOT charge more for my postcode). I cancelled my order on the 14th Feb and have still not received a refund. Replies to my queries online go unanswered. With the exeception of snail mail (already sent) I have no other way of contacting these guys. I consider this theft. A payment was taken from my account on 2nd Feb and to this day I have received nothing in return. So Angry!

Furiousd You'll see from here many of us have suffered like you.
I ordered 10th Jan,they took payment and all delivery date s were put back.
I cancelled and got the the email "refund in 10days" however that deadline came and went so have requested a chargeback from my bank.
Perhaps that's something you should consider.
On a brighter note the company I'm using now are brilliant :)
    Ordered online 14.40
    despatched 16.40
    recieved 9am the following day

Macma, I have actually just opened a parcel from those guys! I ordered on Tuesday and it arrived today. Great service! My bank explained that I have to wait for 30 days before they can do a chargeback, so will have to persue the matter in a fortnight. I feel like I have been fleeced - it has never happened to me online before and I feel stupid and angry. Why won't they even reply to me?!!!

In previous dealings with them they were ok and as I mentioned before I even left a message of support on Facebook back in Oct which the sneaky so and sos are using
I can't delete it but they have blocked me and my hubby from commenting on the present situation
But 3 cheers for these good companies like the one we are now using they know Good customer service :)

Just sent these guys an E-mail with a letter backed up in the post.
  • First time I used this company they took 3 weeks to deliver. I send them emails complaining, as it was a present for my partner birthday . When I first order the kit they said they had the items in stock, but then when I asked them about the delay they said they actually didn't had the item. I decided to give them another change this year. I order some items in the begging of January, I got them 1 month and 1 day later. Once again they told me the out of stock story. Why do they mark the items as IN STOCK. And then in February their excuse was they were business because of Christmas (in February???).
    Never again with this company.

I'm on the West coast too, as far as I'm aware http://www.the-home-brew-shop.co.uk/index.html are the only place that do the same delivery for everywhere, so if you spend over a ceratin amount it's free, even to us !!
