Oh and also make sure you leave a TP review
Dont forget about the "Online Homebrew Forum" TP page, anyone can leave a review on this.
The problem is, of course, that the only way to get hold of them is via their rubbish online email form, so by the time they have responded (even if they bother), I'll have the goods.
I have already reviewed them on Trustpilot on both their own name and their forum. The review's been on then off and is now back on. It's in the name of "VK".0 -
Hate to say it but if this is the website http://www.brew-it-yourself.co.uk/ the contact link is quite easy to find, sure they try to get the answer to your question on the site without needing to contact them but this is a good thing??
I dont want to waste time calling someone or waiting for a reply if I dont need to.
And to the trolls, no I dont work for them0 -

Have to looked at any of the previous pages of this thread to see why?
If someone had £200 of your money for nearly two months without sending the goods would you be happy? Would you not want a contact telephone number or direct E-mail to ask why? Would you be happy if you was sending message after message via the only way which is on their website only to get no reply?
Get yourself a brew and start from page 1..............:beer:0 -

I think your being the troll....
I suggest you keep up with what’s happening here...
It's not about just questions, it's about getting an answer as to where your order is, why they keep changing the stock status, slipping delivery dates and ultimately trying to get your money back.
I suggest if you haven’t ordered from them you do so and test out your theory then.
Otherwise perhaps you should learn from our experience and just accept that the likelihood, once you have parted with your money, is that you won't get the goods and getting a refund is a whole world of pain.0 -
My post was in reply to the first post, I have no interest reading the rest of the thread.
I assume you clever online shoppers always use a credit card as you should at all times? If so then it isn't difficult at all, if you get no response and think you are getting ripped off then do a simple chargeback and your money is returned. Simples.
From what I have read some people do make things hard for themselves.0 -

You're certainly exhibiting all the signs of being a troll.
The best thing to do with a troll is not to feed it. I suggest everyone else does the same.0 -

I see that word popping up all over this forum but no idea what it means. If disagreeing with anyone makes me a troll then I do apologise. What you will find is as a long term member of this forum I am full of rants and when I read silly things I will respond to those silly things and again try to point out the obvious that people seem to think doesnt apply to them and that is always use a credit card.0 -
Why are you even commenting in this thread if you have no interest in it ?
The whole point of it is to make people aware of this terrible company. Using a credit card really has nothing to do with it, this crowd needed to be outed and it couldn't have been done any where else.
A website stating they have plenty of stock but as soon as you order it's then out of stock in your account. Deliveries being put back week after week and when you eventually ask for a refund it either takes weeks or you need to contact your bank for a charge back.
So, if you've no interest be gone back under your bridge.0 -
Were the obvious benefits of paying by credit card the point of this whole thread...?
I paid by credit card & know I'll get my money back (but maybe some people do not have credit cards, as by definition home-brew is favoured by those on a budget).
Although many posting here DID pay by credit card that doesn't mean that this hasn't been a total pain in the a*** for all of us.
Maybe we should all let the OHBC off the hook & discuss the consumer credit act instead of trying to expose & discredit them before they screw someone else?
