  • I have a suspicion that unless an order is delivered you are not considered a customer.

I think the same but hope I am wrong.I was refunded my money within 2 days (lucky I guess)which must be the quickest thing TOHC have done for a long time.

How much was your order for? My bank had no issue with a refund as it was for nearly £150, I was worried as I paid on a debit card but they said it was no issue. Going forward I’m going back to paying with a credit card for everything online now, if it’s a company I have not used before. For some reason I got out of this habit.

You may find that your bank won’t be able to help you in person and your have to phone a department, that’s what I had to do with the Halifax but they were more than helpful. The girl on the phone was also only to aware of "THE ONLINE SHOPPING COMPANY LTD", the system had a lot of info about them from previous charge backs etc, she couldn’t tell me anymore than that [TEXT DELETED BY FORUM TEAM].
  • I wonder if we all complained to their merchant services provider wether we could get their account suspended for fraudulent use of services?

I went through their online cancellation forms on 15th Feb once my delivery date moved again from the 15th Feb to the 22nd Feb, got a confirmation email from OHBC with the usual 10 day thing.Checked online 17th Friday and money was credited to my account, total of £90.

I have contacted them; their reply:

    Thanks for your e-mail.

    Wow, some interesting stuff.
I would lay off TP(they are not ripping us off)as they do not work weekends and I believe they have set up some sort of scan that detects reviews and replaces them with the automated replies about investigating reviews until they are back at work, as there are positive reviews being taken down as well, along with the homebrew website not being able to show TP reviews at the moment.
I have faith that Hasse and Kasper from TP will do the right thing during the week

    We shall see...
I called TP's support number and they said they can only deal with this and any complaints via email. I have emailed them yet again and so far had no response.
At the moment as I see it they are part of the issue.
