The reviews on TrustPilot for TrustPilot are now getting 1 star reviews solely because of Brew It Yourself, with many customers expressing their anger at the way the reviews are being manipulated by this company. Hopefully with more and more, they will wake up and stop this company from manipulating the reviews by reporting any that they do not like.

Brew It Yourself actually went into compulsory liquidation in 2009, hence why they changed their name to the online shopping company http://wck2.companieshouse.gov.uk/166e0f8dcb87e519a77f8f19b98fcace/compdetails

The Online Shopping Company was set up right after and continued trading http://wck2.companieshouse.gov.uk/166e0f8dcb87e519a77f8f19b98fcace/compdetails.

The full records can be obtained from Companies House at http://wck2.companieshouse.gov.uk/166e0f8dcb87e519a77f8f19b98fcace/wcprodorder?ft=1.

It seems there are 3 directors [TEXT DELETED BY FORUM TEAM] So there are 3 people who keep an eye on policing the negative reviews.

If they spent as much time treating customers with respect as they do policing the web and updating their twitter and facebook feeds, there would be only happy customers.

Some more stuff to chew over.

    an old voucher website...
    http://www.selectyourvoucher.com/Discount-Codes-Retailers/Brew-it-Yourself
Brew it Yourself teamed up with our discount codes website to provide you with some great Brew it Yourself voucher codes and Brew it Yourself deals all year around.

Brew It Yourself is one of the web's most popular home brewing and winemaking websites and is operated by Esuasion Limited. We're a true online retail company that's been involved in ecommerce for the past 10 years. We run a number of different websites - many of them market leaders in their sector. These include www.basket-ware.co.uk, www.up-the-junction.co.uk, www.balls2you.com, www.hr-in-a-box.co.uk and many more. Full details of our sites are available from our corporate website - www.esuasion.co.uk
Now,note that one website tucked in amongst those others...
    www.hr-in-a-box.co.uk

Remember that for a moment, and now lets have a little dig deeper on Euasion limited....
    http://www.companiesintheuk.co.uk/ltd/esuasion

Check out one of their previous addys...
    94 LONDON ROAD
    SOUTHEND ON SEA
    ESSEX SS1 1PG

So I looked up that place on google street view. To my supprise there is a company there today called "PRACTICAL H.R. LIMITED" No suprise it is the exact same logo ect. This companys name is right at the top of the hr in a box website, complete with the logo of course. Oh this company has a shop front somewhere then it seems.

So I went to companies house. As you have probably gathered now companies house has a strange way of handling links when they refer to connected companies so I will have to post what I found. But this company...

    PRACTICAL H.R. LIMITED
    CUMBERLAND HOUSE
    24-28 BAXTER AVENUE
    SOUTHEND ON SEA
    ESSEX
    SS2 6HZ
    Company No. 04430009

Which is still going strong and has been since 2002 has the same registered address as...

    THE ONLINE SHOPPING COMPANY LTD
    CUMBERLAND HOUSE
    24-28 BAXTER AVENUE
    SOUTHEND ON SEA
    ESSEX
    SS2 6HZ
    Company No. 06958394

and Brew it yourself (which was compulsary liquidised in 2009)

    BREW-IT-YOURSELF LIMITED
    CUMBERLAND HOUSE
    24-28 BAXTER AVENUE
    SOUTHEND ON SEA
    ESSEX
    SS2 6HZ
    Company No. 06910800

What the hell is going on here, something does not look right at all. Practical HR, THE ONLINE SHOPPING COMPANY, ESUASION and Brew It Yourself all seem to be connected. Either via 94 LONDON ROAD - SS1 1PG or 24-28 BAXTER AVENUE - SS2 6HZ.

I guess the background in law connected with Practical-HR would explain some of the well thought out and worded legal threats some folk on the net have had when talking about any of these companies.

Hi, I'm a newbie, but not as far as Esuasion is concerned...
I've just looked up the address 94 London Road, it seems to have an accountancy firm located there and - this is the good bit - was once home to a now dissolved company called:
    BAD BOYZ MANAGEMENT.
Not necessarily any connection with our friends, but a sweet irony.

    Cumberland House 24-28 Baxter Avenue
    Southend-On-Sea

And as you say also linked to 94 London Road.

    94 LONDON ROAD,
    SOUTHEND ON SEA
    ESSEX

Goodness me, I wonder how many more disolved and liquidated companies are going to be linked to these two locations.
  • Wow, some interesting stuff.
I would lay off TP(they are not ripping us off)as they do not work weekends and I believe they have set up some sort of scan that detects reviews and replaces them with the automated replies about investigating reviews until they are back at work, as there are positive reviews being taken down as well, along with the homebrew website not being able to show TP reviews at the moment.
I have faith that Hasse and Kasper from TP will do the right thing during the week
  • I agree with beamer about TP. They have to confirm that a reviewer is real. Unfortunately, I have a suspicion that unless an order is delivered you are not considered a customer. That is, money taken from account and held for 8 weeks with no comms and no refund, and then cancelled means you have no right to review. If this is the case slam trustpilot. If TP then come good you can always go back and change your review of them. But for now my TP review is a bad one. I look forwards to changing it soon.
If you are not happy with an order contact Ritchy Products mentioned earlier in this thread. They are the only ones supplying OHBC even though they know what is going on. If Ritchies do not give you any satisfaction, review them as well.
