Who else is expecting bad feedback due to royal mail losses

I sometimes buy stuff from ebay, and when i bought i expected some delays. And the seller kept in contact to tell me whats happening and stuff. So meh i dont understand why some people leave negative feedback when its clearly not your fault.
I would never neg a seller for loss or delay of an item, I would be tempted to neg though if they refused to refund or made me wait too long for a refund or if i had to go to paypal to get a refund.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. Same here, but not all ebayers are nice peopleLifes a !!!!! and then you marry one:D0 -
Same person gave me fab +fb, and 2, 3, 4, 4, stars.
The good thing is that I sell items that buyer cannot buy anywhere else, so when they came back wanting to buy again from me, it was me laughing..
How do you know which person gave you the DSR's i thought you could not see who gave you what
I explained that in my previous post.0 -
Any seller mentioning 15 working days to me has me reaching straight for the 'paypal dispute' button.
Could not agree with you more.
My immediate thoughts are, I was the buyer you should be looking after me first and not yourself.
Some sellers really do think that refunding you from their Royal Mail refund is the way to go. :wall:0 -
Only had the 1 problem with a SD Card that i sent first class post (in an envelope with a stamp) i should had sent it via the post office but i put it in the post box
a few days later the buyer ask where his item was as he recieved the envelope but no card inside, the envelope was taped so it couldn't come open but apparently it had a small split down 1 side .
I pointed out that the card was inside a case approx 2" x 1 1/2" so couldn't fall out a small split,he then asked me to refund his payment straight away.
I know it was only £3.50 but i said no not until i had the envelope returnd to me and i had sorted out the claim with royal mail.
He sent me the envelope and the small split is approx 2" long !!!! so i am waiting for royal mail to get back to me,i have (985) 100% positive feedback but as you can't leave negative feedback for buyers this guy could be doing this all the time and we would never know.
OR it could be theft from the sorting office. This is rare but does happen (the big sorting office near me sacked its manager last year for sifting for money in greetings cards). They deem him their worst enemy who tells them the truth. -- Plato0 -

You can work it out fairly easily. I run daily transaction date reports to keep an eye on my stars and run item number reports if anything looks amiss (esp if just started a new item and low stars start appearing). Often though there is no rhyme or reason to it - you can have 100 buyers leaving 5s across the board for a particular item and then have some ol' numptie leave you a couple of 2s for no apparent reason. And you are not allowed to then ask them why! They deem him their worst enemy who tells them the truth. -- Plato0 -

I'd bet on that being a good chance.
Probably felt like a two pound coin or similar in a card for someone.
Not a good way to send it.0 -

Yes the days of knowing what was going on with ebay are long gone. It doesn't help when some DSR's are a few days of the mark. I was on to be a top rated seller till the 17th of this month and bam there was that last DSR that tipped me over the edge.Lifes a !!!!! and then you marry one:D0 -

the problem with that type of packaging is the machines sqeeze the card(or whatever) towards the edge of the envelope
so it can push right through after a few mech sessions0 -
i think a sellers were taking advantage of the bad weather, some were selling items the didn't even have in stock, then blaming the bad weather for them not turning up,but they were really just waiting for their stock to come in,as i said a few0
