Who else is expecting bad feedback due to royal mail losses

I quite agree with the numpties remark. Well before any bad weather, when there were no problems with delivery, the only numpty that got my back up was a seller who I paid immediately, gave over ten working days, then emailed him (or her) to ask where it was, and if it has been posted, and got an email back which said
" sent xx/xx/xx, RM say to give 15 working days for delivery, contact me after that and I will advise you how to put in a claim"
I pointed out the real world, and had a paypal refund within the day.
There is a need to keep idiots under control. Especially those who just try it on.
Any seller mentioning 15 working days to me has me reaching straight for the 'paypal dispute' button.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. Some DSR's do not show up till half way through next month, si don't count your chickens etc
They update instantly on the expanded dashboard, or at least overnight especially if they are 1 or 2 *. They are not uploaded in bulk.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. you can also look for a specific seller's using reports (although they don't show straight away, I think after a day or two).
You need to do it properly though, or, like I did before I learnt how to do it, you'll end up cursing/blocking the wrong people.0 -

Those reports make frightening reading sometimes don't they? I had to stop doing them as I was analysing them down and worrying about them too much.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. The basic way is to go to your expanded seller dashboard you then have reports and service tools on the left. However as Terra says you need to be careful that they say what you think they say as they can be a worry. I tend now to just watch my expanded dashboard for 1 or 2 *.
EDIT: What is interesting though is to compare UK and non UK sales.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. I've just been contacted by a buyer who paid for something on 19th Dec, I posted on 20th and it's not there yet. It wasn't a present, so they didn't need for Christmas.
I have politely replied and said that since 24th, today was the first delivery day, and it may be caught in a backlog. I have asked them to let me know if it hasn't arrived in the next few days and I will just refund. You're only young once, but you can be immature forever0 -

I would certainly try and get them to wait until the weekend if they sound OK as that puts it into around 8 working days.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. I have just lost my TRS due to a 1* and a 2* both left on the same day (I have narrowed it down by running several reports.)
Four buyers left feedback on that date, one I lost 82p on the postage, one I combined postage and saved them 2.40, and the other two the postage cost was £2.24 and I charged them £2.50 - both were bubbled wrapped and boxed.
I have appealed to Ebay, but not holding my breathYou're only young once, but you can be immature forever0 -
Only had the 1 problem with a SD Card that i sent first class post (in an envelope with a stamp) i should had sent it via the post office but i put it in the post box
a few days later the buyer ask where his item was as he recieved the envelope but no card inside, the envelope was taped so it couldn't come open but apparently it had a small split down 1 side .
I pointed out that the card was inside a case approx 2" x 1 1/2" so couldn't fall out a small split,he then asked me to refund his payment straight away.
I know it was only £3.50 but i said no not until i had the envelope returnd to me and i had sorted out the claim with royal mail.
He sent me the envelope and the small split is approx 2" long !!!! so i am waiting for royal mail to get back to me,i have (985) 100% positive feedback but as you can't leave negative feedback for buyers this guy could be doing this all the time and we would never know.0
