Well here I am back on the bloody emotional roller coaster. My poor mum is back in hospital. I've been there for 6 hours today. This hospital is about 15 miles from us so it is hardly handy. Was on way back , in the dark, in freezing fog and my petrol light came on  Thanks DD :rotfl:. I was stressing big time as I knew I had miles to go before I got a garage. Thankfully I made it but jeezo stress city. I would have been terrifiied if I'd broken down in the fog. Fog creeps me out and because we are near a river and a Loch it gets like pea soup here. Anyway, all's well that ends well and I made it home safely. Looks like the wee soul has pneumonia again. The nurse in A&E said to me that she was ' a wee creaking gate'. I know what he means but just made me sad to hear it said. The staff there are getting to know us which has its advantages as you get tea in a mug rather than a plastic cup :rotfl:. There's always a positive
.
I had a lovely day yesterday with my friends at 'The Girls day out'. I bought a nice scarf for me and 1 for DD, I got my eyebrows waxed which was a new experience for me and I am hooked. I bought myself a leather bag for overnight use and it was only £12.50 and a very bling tinkerbell keyring for DD for her car keys . So spent a fair bit but hey I hardly ever spend money so I just dont care. I got £78 from CSA today so that was good. I am leaving it in my account though as I am short of money for my bills this month. I have 2 houses to clean this weekend so I can hopefully use that money and any other maintenance I get this month to pay off of my CC.
Until Christmas as I have said my aim is to not add to my debt so I will just keep plugging away5 Year plan. April 2020 to June 2025- CC and mortgage free by time I'm 60
Currently CC £23,674.36 /£14,895.41/£14315.42
Mortgage £28,214.65/ £26,254.71/ £25,746.43
By end 2020 I want CC at £ 19,000.00.
By end 2021 I want CC at £10,000.000 -

Hope your mum feels better soon MIT. I have fair eyebrows and have never bothered with them cos i did'nt think you could see them much but have recently got into having them dyed and shaped and love it, have thought of having a facial but its the thought of spending all that money(the ones by me are'nt cheap) i could be buying something more useful or paying off some more of my debt.xx:j Debtfree and and staying that way.:j3-6 month emergency fund, No.61 £140.000

Hi folks, Been a mad few days. Mum did have pneumonia but is responding well to treatment and will hopefully get home tomorrow
. I think she has actually quite enjoyed herself this visit to hospital as she has been in with a lovely bunch of women and been having some smashing blethers ( her words ) :rotfl:. Exhausting for me mind you as I have not sat down each night until after 10pm . House is like a midden but better than earlier as I had a freaky fit at the kids and they were warned to tidy it up whilst I was at the hospital. This they have donw. Not brilliantly but good enough for now. At least we have clean dishes again
.
Spends wise I have not been great. Had to eat on the hop which costs loads. Had a couple of takeaways and packs of sandwiches etc. I need to pull it back though as I have ended up spending the £78 maintenance this week on this type of thing and petrol rather than paying it off of the Christmas debt. I just dont want that to happen so I need to stop now. I have 2 houses to clean this weekend so I will get £50 for that and DD owes me £15. That'll buy my weekly shopping and I will manage to pay about £30 from Christmas debt. Better than nothing I suppose.
Anyway I am shattered with a capital S !! so I am heading to bed. Just wanted to check in and say hello. Hopefully things will settle down a bit over thenext few days and I can get back to normal. Take care xx
Oh and Amber if you can get someone to buy you a wee facial for Christmas then go for it as it is fab-u-lous5 Year plan. April 2020 to June 2025- CC and mortgage free by time I'm 60

Been talking to my friend at work today about eyebrow shaping and dying and got onto the subject of facials, think i will have one for a xmas treat.
Dont you find that if you have a certain amount of money to last you for that week, something always crops up and blows your budget. glad mum seems to be on the mend, think its yor turn for a little TLC.x:j Debtfree and and staying that way.:j3-6 month emergency fund, No.61 £140.000 -
