Shattered.com. DS has had his operation and the good news is that the growth has not regrown in his ear . Bad news is that his ear canal is narrow so he should really get surgery on that
. Consultant has decided to leave it just now though and give it another chance because getting DS into surgery is h*ll. Even with a pre-med today he fought against everyone and everything. It was awful. Never mind, all done now. So funny though as he kept going on about how he wasnt tired and could stay up late tonight etc etc but he has crashed out on the sofa and has been sound asleep for the last hour. Bless.
No spend today other than DD's lunch. I took rolls to the hospital and my brother bought us a roll and sausage on the way home.
Nearly payday :j. I will absolutely be paying off tesco on Monday and I feel like having a party :rotfl:I am so pleased. I have £23 in bank, £6 in my purse and £30 earnings tomorrow so I may pay £20 from the £60 I borrowed and that will just be £40 to pay back on payday. I also have £30 extra to pay to Virgin this month for my hub installation. I've got it free for 3 months and then an additional £5 per month after that.
Ex OH had said to DD that he would give her £20 per month towards her insurance but has now backtracked on it due to the CSA going up :rotfl:DD is not amused and said yet again he has gone back on a promise. I really need to start looking at insurance as she resits her test next week but I am also due to renew my policy in November. I reckon I may get a few quid from quidco for this as my current provider was quoting an abhorrent renewal with my DD included.

Good Evening. End of the month for me tomorrow. I cannot wait until Monday to pay off Tesco. So excited about it :j. Only 3 cards left then and a loan. So much better than 6 credit cards , a store card, a car loan and a loan.
So end of month spends. I know its boring but this is for me
Miscellaneous- £160.70 up by £32.80 on last month
Lunches- £122.55 up by £17.50
Social life- £206.00  up by £156 :rotfl:( had fun though )
Petrol £134.51 up by £10.02
Clothes £198.98  up by £198.98
Gifts £31.33 up by £26.55
Shopping - £391.51 up by £42.70 (was a 5 week month though so that's ok)
Every single category has gone up. That is not good. No wonder I was skint most of the month. I am obviously confusing myself with someone with money . I have also spent loads on Christmas but that is budgeted and I will report all that when my shopping is finished.
I've been looking at my list of people I still have to buy for and I will make a nice food hamper for 1 of them with a home made batch of tablet, a Christmas cake and some cup cakes in it and maybe a wee bottle of wine. It's for a family of 5 so I think that would be nice and I could bring that in for under £20. I make the most delicious gingerbreads too and I reckon I will make some of them for my wee group of friends for a nice wee surprise. Cupcakes and wine for my staff. Lots of ideas going round in my head.
I have also been thinking a lot about my future. Come the summer I will have a 'normal' amount of debt and I was thinking about trying for another mortgage and moving house to somewhere nearer my mother and a bit bigger than what we have just now. I have been going over and over it in my head for ages and think I have finally made my decision. I am going to do the things to this house that I know will make our life a lot more comfortable. They are :- New central heating
- New guttering
- Gardens sorted out
- new fence at front of house
- new kitchen
- new bathroom
- fitted wardrobes in 2 bedrooms
- downstairs loo
- decorate throughout
- new carpets/flooring in 4 rooms
- buy my mum's council flat
2012- do the heating and the wardrobe, flooring and decor in 1 bedroom. Buy my mum's flat by releasing the equity in my house. I am going to ask my brother if he wants to come in with me for this.
2013- Kitchen and downstairs loo
2014- Bathroom and gardens decked, fenced etc
I will fit in decorating throughout the years. I think I would be mad not to buy my mum's house as it is worth more than 60k on the open market and she would get it from the council for about 30k. Would be hard work but I am sure I could do it.I'm going to have a go anyway5 Year plan. April 2020 to June 2025- CC and mortgage free by time I'm 60

NSD
. l am well happy with that. Been a busy but productive day.
Took DD to work this morning and then went and helped DS do his leaflet delivery round. 2 hours of solid walking so that's the exercise box ticked again today. I have come home and cleaned kitchen, lower hall and lounge. Hoovered and mopped these rooms too. 3 loads of washing done. Lots ready to iron tonight, oh goody.Dinner cooked and eatem. It was yum yum. So going to chill for a wee hour before the ironing mountain is tackled.
Spoke to my brother today about buying my mum's house and he agrees that we would be mad not to. Looks like mum is due 70% discount so she would get her flat for about 15k rather than the 30k I reckoned on so that is amazing. I am defo going to see about releasing equity from my house to fund this as it is a golden opportunity to move forward. If nothing else my debt journey has taght me that I am not content to sit still and want to move forward and upward with my life. I have seen what I can do moneywise whilst paying off the debt and if I can put the same effort into saving then I will be laughing in the future. It is all good. I hope everyone has had a nice day xx

pay day tomorrow and I still had £20 in the bank  !!!!!! nice surprise so it has been paid off of Tesco. £120 to go and it will go tomorrow
. I also need to pay £60 back to my wee savings and £40 to DS's trip to France next year. I have quite a busy month socially as well so I will need to watch my spends closely as I really do not want to spend as much as I did last month. That was a shocker . I am going to see Dirty Dancing next week with my mum
I had bought the tickets for her for her birthday. She is taking us for lunch before we go so that'll be fab. I am going to a 'girls day out' in SECC with my girl crowd. I have a 50th and going to Hormonal housewives and having a boozy lunch . Hormonal housewives is paid already and boozy lunch/ day will be paid from the wee savings I keep tlaking about ( hence the necessity to repay it :rotfl:) but the party and girly day need to come from the coffers. I am really looking forward to all of it mind you. December is busy too so it will be a challenge to stay in budget and also to stay on healthy eating.
Bring it on. I am up for any challenge :cool:5 Year plan. April 2020 to June 2025- CC and mortgage free by time I'm 60

Thanks Guys
I cannot tell you how happy I am to get rid of that. I am going to ring them and ask if they will give me a decent balance transfer rate. I'll wait a week though until payments go through and account is cleared :j. So pleased.
Skint so long as my brother and I can get the finance then I reckon buying the house will be a goer. If we cant then we will find a plan B as I think we would be crazy not to.
I lost 9lbs this week so all is looking good for me. Ate like a pig all day today though. Need to give DS a cheque tomorrow for France trip and pay £20 towards my trip next year. my friend in work is selling a cross trainer and said he will sell it to me for £25. I am really tempted. The last time I used one of those I could only do about 3 minutes but I really want some sort of exercise machine that I can use whilst watching telly so I can be lazy but exercise as well. It makes sense to me :rotfl:. That'll be my Christmas pressie to me

Why not. As long as you have the room for it! They can take up a fair bit space. Good stuff, plans are afoot!Trying to shift that debt!0

lol no I have no space for it. It'll have to sit in my lounge until I clear out under my stairs. Once I e-bay all the[STRIKE] sh*t [/STRIKE]cracking stuff under there then I should have room for it. I am not too bothered about it being in my lounge as I intend using it whilst watching the tv and so will the kids. DS has a wee podgy belly and DD wants to stay nice and slim but stuff her face so it will be a good investment for us all.
Jelly Bean I have seen Mamma Mia and I loved it. I just love musical theatre and all the reports I have had on dirty dancing are fabulous and not to be missed.
I am well grumpy tonight. I have already sent DS to bed for being cheeky. That was after chasing him up the stairs and trying to break down the bathroom door as I wanted to bust his chops :rotfl:. Teenage boys
DD is resitting her driving test this week and she has spent all evening cleaning my car. I never get the time to do it and she has been out cleaning the vents with cotton buds and everything. :j. I hope she passes and it might stay clean
